Customers say
Customers find the webcam cover works well on both iPads and laptops, covering the lens completely, and is easy to install and remove. The adhesive quality and size receive mixed feedback – while some say it adheres well and fits laptops and MacBooks perfectly, others report it falls off quickly and is too small. The sliding mechanism receives mixed reviews, with some saying it moves smoothly while others find it moves too freely. Durability is a concern as customers report it falls apart with handling and doesn’t last long. Value for money opinions are divided between those who find it worth buying and those who consider it cheap.

Just What You Need For Some Privacy
My laptop was having some weird issue where my camera was being turned on by itself every once in a while. I didn’t want to have it be a privacy issue so I bought these. They work really well for their intended purpose. They adhere to the laptop easily and stay put. Being able to slide the cover to use the camera when I needed instead of just covering it with a sticker is so much easier and convenient. I’ve used all three stickers on different types of laptops and they all have fit just fine! Definitely recommend these for piece of mind.

Easy to Use
Exactly what we needed to cover the cameras on our phones. These are so easy to use – stick on and then they slide open when you want to use your camera and slide shut when you don’t.

Exactly what I needed
I had been using black electrical tape to cover my laptop web cam when not in use and wanted something more convenient. The size of these covers works perfectly.

Good Design, Simple, Laptop didn’t close fully
Very easy install and it sticks, simple design. Didn’t use it on my MacBook Air because the screen doesn’t fully shut with it installed

Blocks out prying ðon the phones.
I love these things. It helps blocking out prying eyes on my iPhone. You just fine where they are watching you (green dot) then stick it on and slide it back and forth when you need to FaceTime and close for the rest of the time.i flipped the camera then found where it needs to be put. Cute too.

Works well for MacBook and iPad, but not ideal for iPhone
The camera covers worked really well on my MacBook and the front camera of my iPad. They were easy to install and provided good coverage when closed. However, for my iPhoneâs front camera, it didnât work as well. I was able to install it, but when using Face ID to unlock the phone or make Apple Pay transactions, it caused too much friction.Sliding the cover to reveal the camera leaves a small piece of plastic over the lens, which interferes with Face ID recognition. So while I appreciate the design and functionality on other devices, it didnât work for me on the iPhone. Iâm giving it three stars in hopes that future designs improve this issue.

A Must-Have Tool Everyone Needs to Possess
This is what we need today in the age of global surveillance that intrudes into our everyday life without our consent and even knowledge. Strongly recommend this.

I Dreamed of Security. I Got a Fingernail-Sized Betrayal.
Let me take you back to the beginning. The moment of purchase. There I was, riding high on a dopamine wave of productivity. I’d just reorganized my bookmarks, unsubscribed from emails I hadn’t opened in years, andâbecause I have ADHDâsuddenly became convinced that my webcam was the enemy. The solution? Webcam covers. Simple. Minimal. Safe.Enter the Yilador Webcam Cover (3 Pack), 0.03 inch Thin. They promised sleek protection, universal fit, subtle elegance. They whispered of privacy, control, the kind of small detail that silently screams âIâve got my life together.â I was sold. The moment they arrived, I knew I had made a terrible mistake. Each cover was roughly the size of a flea with a gym membership. So thin, so weightless, I thought the envelope might be empty. I peeled the first one off the backing and immediately lost it. Gone. Not on the desk, not in the carpet. Just gone. It may still be orbiting my apartment. It may have returned to the quantum vacuum from whence it came.I moved onâalready sweatingâonly to find the second one had no intention of sticking to any of my three laptops. Not the matte finish, not the glossy bezel, not even the flat aluminum on the MacBook. It slid around like a drunk snail, then lifted off completely, like it too rejected the life I was trying to build.Undeterred, I tried the third. Surely, I thought, this one will stay. Reader, it did not. It lasted just long enough to look like it was working, then popped off the next time I opened the lid. It clung to the opposite screen like it had been exiled from its homeland. And hereâs the kicker: even when âsuccessfullyâ applied, the design is so minuscule that itâs nearly impossible to operate without tweezers and the patience of a monk. You want to slide it open to use your camera? Hope you enjoy finger gymnastics and disappointment. I felt like I was playing Operation but with my laptopâs dignity on the line.Within 20 minutes, I had transitioned from excitement to confusion to fury to existential doubt. Is it me?Is my hardware too modern? Too obsolete?Do I just not deserve privacy?Eventually, I gave up and slapped a piece of painterâs tape over my webcam. Is it elegant? No.Does it work? Flawlessly. Will it rip off some screen coating in six months? Probably. But at least it stays on.I want to believe these covers might work for someone. Someone with an ultra-flat, perfectly clean device and the fine motor skills of a watchmaker. Someone who doesnât drop things or breathe too hard while aligning stickers. But for the rest of us?This is not the way.So now I carry the lesson. I carry the weight. I carry the memory of that night, hunched over my laptop in dim light, trying to convince a glorified plastic eyelash to stick to my machine like it owed me something. It did not.It never did.
