Mounts well, clean photos.
Clean crisp lens, auto focus is fast, and the photo quality is still high for my XT3. Would recommend and will be buying other lenses from viltrox.

Excellent Lens. Incredible Value
Super fast delivery and it included a free 77mm UV filter, which was appreciated.75mm roughly translates to a 112mm focal length when you compare it to full frame (1.5 crop). Very useful as it resides between the commonly used portrait focal lengths of 85mm and 135mm equivalents on APSC.This Viltrox lens has incredible construction quality. Itâs not too heavy though on my XH2. The center of gravity when attached is easy to handle and much more of a pleasant experience than trying to fumble about with my large Canon RF lenses on my R5. Being a third party lens, I havenât noticed any issues with the AF on my XH2. It seems to be snappy and locks onto the subject rather quickly. As far as image quality is concerned, I attached some images to this review where you can judge for yourself. I love to shoot wide open, so having the lens go to 1.2 was certainly in my wheelhouse. The bokeh on it is excellent. Youâre basically getting 75mm bokeh at a 112mm perspective, which is going to still be a ton of liquidation when viewing focus falloff. rItâs more football-shaped, which is fine by me.I know many like to compare this lens to the Fuji 56mm f/1.2, but comparing 56 to 75 doesnât make a lot of sense to me. The compression is different. The closest Fuji comparison in terms of focal length is the XF80mm, but even that only goes to f/2.8 which is a HUGE gap from f.1.2. Therefore, this 75mm f/1.2 is a one of a kind gem with no real comparison being made by Fuji or any third party company. The Viltrox 75mm was super sharp, even wide open. I attached a shot of a model against a bright background to see if chromatic aberrations would be prominent. That shot was unedited with no lens corrections so you can just see how the lens handles those high contrast situations that usually plague portrait lenses. To my surprise, the CA was almost non-existent. Thatâs pretty rare for a third party lens in my experience.Iâm enjoying the 75mm f/1.2 so much that now Iâm interested in checking out the 13mm f/1.4.

Sharp AF
This lens is very sharp even at 1.2. Definitely a game changer. And yes compared to the prior viltrox lens this is in a much higher league so donât question if there is a comparison. FF comparison would be a 105 1.4 and honestly this lens is better.

Exceptional Clarity
The VILTROX 56mm F1.7 XF-Mount APS-C Autofocus Lens is a remarkable addition to any Fujifilm photographer’s kit. With its large f/1.7 aperture, this lens excels in low-light conditions and produces beautiful bokeh, making it ideal for portraits and creative shots. The autofocus is quick and accurate, ensuring you capture sharp images with ease. The build quality is solid, yet the lens remains lightweight and compact, perfect for on-the-go shooting. Whether you’re a professional or an enthusiast, this lens offers excellent value and performance for the Fujifilm system.

Best lens you can buy for a fuji camera. AF a bit slow but IQ is worth every cent

Have the 35mm Air and this 56mm is a nice 85mm equivalent focal length. Portraits are very nice and bokeh is pleasing. Light as a feather means I can carry both Air lenses in a very small bag and have a very light and compact 2 prime lens kit for my X T50.

I’ve recently moved back to Fujfilm and now prefer to have my cameras as small a possible to fit in my travel tech packs. In the past I have used Samyang and Laowa Lenses and I have to say the quality of this Viltrox 28mm is on par. This 28mm has an all metal build and overall very solidly built, it does not feel hollow or overly light with a weight of 68g. Size wise it is actually slimmer then the 23mm Lens on my X100VI and what’s most impressive is the fact that they have managed to fit Auto Focus in this thing.Just note that with all this compactness you are dealing with a fix aperture of f4.5 and picture quality that cannot be compared to lenses more then twice the price and twice the amount of aperture range. Yet it’s limitation is what gives this lens it’s charm. But once you understand what kind of lens this is you can appreciate it’s capability for it’s size.Overalll a great quality built lens and probably the smallest AF lens you can find.
