Compact and durable
Works real well. Reaches a good height. I use it for recording my son’s volleyball games with a small camcorder. It fits in a backpack when not being used and it seems to hold up real well

Excellent support for lamps
Excellent support for cameras and lamps, very light to carry, but it is only for small lamps, it can be unstable for large lamps

Amazing!
It’s great! Totally worth the price and works with various items to screw on top. The height of it blows my mind in a good way, but also goes as short as you want. Highly, Highly recommend.

Compact and durable little stand.
Pleasantly surprised on the quality. Great compact tri-pod for the price. Good for cameras and phones (adopter not included). We used it for livestreaming.

I got these to support stationary, small cameras for filming at small pub gigs. There isn’t room at these venues for a conventional tripod where people will trip over the legs and it gets in the way. Not to mention that with a regular tripod if people stand in front of the camera it will obscure the view of the stage as normal tripods arenât tall enough. With the MT-79 fully extended the camera is way over head height so I can pick a safe spot further back and film over the top of the crowd. Also, with just a single pole I can position it safely near walls or by tables. I now have 3 of these, one either side of the stage with GoPro style action cameras on, and another centrally mounted with a mirrorless SLR on (Sony ZVE1 + Kit lens or small prime). The SLR setup is obviously not as stable as the action cameras but it works well enough. I have tried it with a larger set-up (Sony A6700 + Tamron 17-70 Zoom) and while it does support the weight, at full extension it only requires a gentle nudge to topple over.Overall construction is good with the legs locking into place with the large knurled ring which can lock in any position should you not want the legs fully out.The camera mount is very easy to use as is the vertical rotation. For horizontal movements the whole tripod must be rotated as the head has only one axis of rotation. The centre column extends by simply pulling up of the sections. When closing down, push the column to collapseOne concern is the column extension mechanism which is held up only by friction – there is no lock. While this functions just fine at the moment, I’m not sure if this might weaken with frequent use. Time will tell.Overall I am very pleased with this support. I’m sure it will also work as a light or flash support – where the extra height will allow correct lighting of subjects from above.

I often travel to do corporate head and shoulders photos and the ability to travel with minimal weight is a great advantage. This light stand is perfect for indoor speed light photography as it’s easy to set up and easy to move around. Also the flexible height and the steady feet make it reasonably solid. I wouldn’t advocate putting anything more than a speed light onto it as the weight and distribution might cause issues with its stability or using outdoors unless there is no wind but accepting these minor things it does exactly what it says and to that end I highly recommend it……in fact have just ordered another.

A very tall and portable

As a wedding photographer I think these are a great prodect for popping a gopro, insta 360 on or a flash/led that isn’t too heavy. At 2m it becomes very flimsy so you couldn’t use it with any wind. Feet are not wide so has to be flat ground too. Good for using a flash for backlight below 6ft. Waist height and below is more ideal for ad200. You could put the ad200 of a rotolight neo 3 pro at 6ft, but would trust it for long if at all tbh.Great for using for ocf behind couples and at low level to light things. Better than having too many large stands.
