TROUBLESHOOTING COMMON ISSUES:
1. Is the flash trigger unresponsive?
Ensure that the flash trigger is securely connected to your camera (some brands may not be compatible). Reinstall it properly and re-secure the hot shoe. Press the test button to see if it functions correctly and check if the batteries are installed.
2. What if the receiver doesn’t capture the signal?
Verify that both the transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel.
Make sure to remove any clear plastic covering the transmitter.
3. Why does my photo have a black edge when the flash fires?
This issue occurs if the flash isn’t synced properly. Check the channel settings.
4. Is the flash trigger compatible with Canon, Sony, or Nikon cameras?
It’s a universal flash trigger, but ensure your camera has standard electrical contacts. Note that cold shoe cameras may not work with this trigger. It is only compatible with Sony cameras that have MI hot shoe technology.
5. My trigger won’t sync with the flash?
The GODOX CT16 does not support TTL functionality. The package includes two adapters (3.5mm/6.35mm) and a sync cable, making it usable with most studio flashes.
6. I only received the transmitter or the receiver?
If you are missing any accessories, please contact us and we will assist you in resolving the issue.
