According to Toronto police, a driver has died following a collision between his truck and a TTC bus on Tuesday evening in the eastern part of the city.
Authorities received reports shortly after 6 p.m. of the accident involving the truck and TTC bus at the intersection of Meadowvale Rd. and Sheppard Ave. E.

Initial reports suggested that the truck driver may have been thrown from the vehicle.
Police confirmed that the truck driver was pronounced dead at the location, with no other injuries reported.
