A tragic incident occurred in California, where six people lost their lives and two others were injured after a boat overturned. The Coast Guard is also searching for two missing individuals.
According to a statement from the U.S. Coast Guard, the boat capsized near D.L. Bliss State Park at Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City, California, on Saturday afternoon, resulting in six fatalities.
Two additional people were hurt and taken to a nearby hospital. The Coast Guard is actively searching for two individuals who are currently unaccounted for.
The incident unfolded on Saturday at 3 p.m. when law enforcement received a report of ten people in the water, prompting a response crew from the Coast Guard.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office announced on Facebook that search efforts would continue on Sunday morning. They have stated they won’t disclose the names of those who perished until their families are informed.
The 27-foot gold Chris-Craft boat reportedly overturned due to a significant swell.
