The Oklahoma City Thunder, led by MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, are just one victory away from their first championship after defeating the Indiana Pacers 120-109 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points, reaching over 30 points for the second straight game and for the fourth time in this finals. However, Jalen Williams shone the brightest, racking up 40 points for Oklahoma City.

For the Pacers, Pascal Siakam led with 28 points, along with six rebounds and five assists.
In contrast, Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, a standout in this year’s playoffs, struggled significantly, managing only four points, all from free throws. He missed all six of his field goals.

The series heads back to Indiana for Game 6 on Thursday, where the Pacers will attempt to avoid elimination.
However, they will miss their lucky charm, WNBA star Caitlin Clark, who has her own game with the Indiana Fever that evening.
