Missing the bottom part.
Nice build quality. Good precision. The bottom though, they donât give you a female adapter for the quick release bottom. Otherwise excellent fit and finish. Good features and plenty mounting points. But make the bottom simpler or give me the adapter with it.

This is the Beast of All Half Cages
I have other foldable half cages, but this is now the best of the best Iâve seen. It is machined well and sturdy. All the surfaces and edges are smooth. I love the compactness of it and the practicality of all the features.Setup is super quick with this cage, just unfold and lock into place. The twist locks are secure and hold tight. I like having the quick release plate. The plate secures to the cage tightly. I did not notice any wobble or âplayâ. The plate is compatible with other heads I have, too.One of my very favorite features of this cage that I havenât seen on other cages is the number of threaded wells. This allows for so many additional options like lights, microphones, an extra action camera, a battery mount, or a small monitor mount. Although, it can get a little weighty if you add too many accessories. I also like the flexibility of using the cage in other arrangements other than the traditional âCâ shape. This provides me with even more options.Overall, Iâm enjoying using this half cage. Itâs portability makes it a no brainer to carry in my gear bag. Iâm sure as time goes on, I will find even more uses for it. I would recommend it.
