SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT ENHANCE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. The Readers’ Choice Sweepstakes (hereafter referred to as “the Sweepstakes”) is subject to these official rules (the “Sweepstakes Rules”). The Sweepstakes starts on June 5, 2025, at 12:00 AM ET and concludes on Aug. 17, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
SPONSOR: Ziff Davis, LLC, located at 360 Park Ave South, Floor 17, New York, NY 10010 (referred to as “the Sponsor”).
ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia. By entering the Sweepstakes as specified in these Rules, participants affirm that they meet all eligibility criteria and agree to the terms set forth, including being bound by all Sponsor decisions, which are final.
Individuals who have won any sweepstakes organized by the Sponsor within the nine (9) months preceding the Selection Date are ineligible to enter. Additionally, those who have worked for the Sponsor or its affiliates in the last six (6) months, including employees, consultants, independent contractors, or interns (“Employees”), are also ineligible. Immediate Family Members and Household Members are not eligible as well. “Immediate Family Members” includes parents, step-parents, guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses of an Employee. “Household Members” refers to those living with an Employee for at least three (3) months a year.
ENTRY METHODS: There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes: (1) complete the online survey, or (2) submit an entry via mail.
1. Online Survey Entry: To enter via the online survey, visit the survey page and fill out the current survey during the Sweepstakes Period.
2. Mail Entry: To enter by mail, write your first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and email address on a 3″ x 5″ card. Send this completed entry to:

Mail entries must be postmarked by Aug. 18, 2025, and received by Aug. 25, 2025.
Only one (1) entry per person is allowed, regardless of the method of entry. Any attempts to submit multiple entries by a single individual will lead to disqualification.
Only entries received within the Sweepstakes Period are valid for entry. Other entry methods will not be accepted. All entries become the Sponsor’s property and will not be returned. Entries are limited to individuals only; businesses and commercial entities are not eligible. Using a false account will lead to disqualification. The Sponsor is not liable for entries that are not received due to Internet access issues, service outages, computer problems, or other technological difficulties.
Entries must adhere to any relevant restrictions or eligibility requirements stated herein. Entries are considered to be submitted by the authorized account holder associated with the provided email or phone number at the time of entry. Multiple individuals cannot share the same email address. If multiple users share an email account or mobile phone number and a dispute arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the Authorized Account Holder of that email or phone account at the time of entry will be recognized as the entrant. The “Authorized Account Holder” is the person assigned an email address or phone number by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or telephone service provider. Submission proof of an entry will not serve as proof of receipt by the website administrator for online entries. The website administrator’s computer will be considered the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes promotion. Entries will be disqualified if deemed incomplete and/or if the Sponsor concludes that multiple entries were submitted by the same person in violation of the Sweepstakes Rules.
Entries that are submitted late, lost, stolen, damaged, tampered with, illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, inaccurate, with insufficient postage, forged, or otherwise not complying with these Official Rules will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be recognized or returned.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The sponsor will choose the prize winner(s) (referred to as the “Winner”) around Sept. 2, 2025, (“Selection Date”) through a random drawing from all valid entries. The Winner will receive an email notification at the contact details provided during entry. The notification will be considered delivered as soon as it is sent by the sponsor. Winners must respond (as instructed) within seven (7) days of the notification attempt. Only entries received during the Sweepstakes Period will be deemed valid. The chances of winning depend on how many valid entries are received. The sponsor may select a replacement winner at their discretion if a potential winner is disqualified or ineligible for any reason.
PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive the following award (collectively referred to as the “Prize”):
One (1) $250 Amazon.com gift code sent via email, valued at around $250.
No more prizes than those specified will be given away, and all prizes listed will be awarded. The actual value of the Prize may differ due to market conditions. The difference in value at the time of notification, if any, will not be compensated. No cash or alternative prizes are permitted unless the sponsor chooses otherwise. The Prize is non-transferable. If the Prize cannot be given due to unforeseen circumstances, a substitute prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. However, if a Prize is awarded but not claimed or is forfeited by the Winner, the Prize may not be re-awarded at the sponsor’s discretion. If more prizes than stated become available for any reason, the sponsor retains the right to award only the number of prizes specified through a random drawing from all valid, un-awarded entries.
ACCEPTANCE AND DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE: The Winner must verify their address and may need to sign and return the following documents within seven (7) days (or a shorter time if necessary): an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and (if legally permissible) a publicity release related to eligibility, liability, advertising, publicity, and media appearances (collectively called the “Prize Claim Documents”). If an entrant is unable to confirm the information from their entry, they will be automatically disqualified and forfeit their prize, if any. The Prize will not be issued until all properly signed and notarized Prize Claim Documents are submitted to the sponsor. Prizes awarded to eligible entrants who are minors will go to the minor’s parent or legal guardian, who must sign and return all required Prize Claim Documents. If the Prize Claim Documents are not returned in the specified timeframe, an alternative Winner may be selected. The Prize will be dispatched to the Winner within 7 days of the sponsor receiving a signed Affidavit and Release from the Winner. The Winner is responsible for any taxes and fees related to the received Prize, if applicable.
OTHER RULES: This sweepstakes abides by all relevant laws and is void where restricted. All submissions made by participants in connection with the sweepstakes become the sole property of the sponsor and will not be recognized or returned. Winners take full responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from their participation in this sweepstakes or from the use or misuse of any prize.
By participating in the sweepstakes, each winner allows the SPONSOR to use their name, city, state/province, email address, and, if provided, their photograph, voice, and likeness for marketing, publicity, or other purposes, INCLUDING ON A WINNER’S LIST, IF RELEVANT, IN ANY and all MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR LATER CREATED, worldwide, without additional consent OR payment, unless prohibited by law. By submitting an entry, participants also grant the Sponsor a perpetual, fully-paid, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, display, transmit, and utilize their entry materials globally in any format for any purpose, including advertising or promotion of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor, and/or its products and services, without requiring further consent or compensation. By entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to receive notifications about future promotions, advertisements, or solicitations from the Sponsor and/or its subsidiaries, affiliates, and business partners through email or other communication methods.
If fraud or tampering, whether electronic or otherwise, is suspected or detected in any way related to this Sweepstakes, or if…
If any technical issues arise (like computer viruses or bugs) that could affect the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor has the authority to invalidate questionable entries and/or discontinue the Sweepstakes, choosing to award the Prize as they see fit. Any deliberate effort to damage the Sponsor’s website(s) or disrupt the proper function of the Sweepstakes may violate U.S. criminal and civil law and will lead to disqualification. If such actions occur, the Sponsor may pursue legal remedies and damages (including attorney fees) to the fullest extent allowed by law, which may include criminal charges.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANTS, ON BEHALF OF THEMSELVES AND THEIR HEIRS, EXECUTORS, ASSIGNS, AND REPRESENTATIVES, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR, ITS PARENT COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AND ALL CURRENT AND FORMER OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, INJURIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR LIABILITIES OF ANY SORT (COLLECTIVELY, “CLAIMS”), WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, WHICH PARTICIPANTS MAY HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR PARTICIPATION THEREIN (SUCH AS LIBEL, DEFAMATION, INVASION OF PRIVACY, PUBLICITY RIGHTS VIOLATIONS, COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE). The Sponsor will have sole discretion over how to interpret and apply these Sweepstakes Rules.
DISPUTES: If the Sweepstakes cannot be run as described in these Rules due to factors beyond the Sponsor’s control (such as computer viruses, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or other issues affecting the integrity of the Sweepstakes), the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify individuals who tamper with the entry process and/or to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor is not responsible for any errors, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation, or any unauthorized access to or alterations of entries. Furthermore, the Sponsor is not accountable for problems associated with any phone networks, online systems, servers, or other technical issues that may arise, including any injuries or damages related to participation or downloading of sweepstakes materials. The Sponsor retains the right to adjust any dates or deadlines as necessary, with notice posted in the Sweepstakes Rules. Any attempts to undermine the Sweepstakes may lead to claims for damages under the law. If the Sponsor fails to enforce these Rules, it does not waive the right to do so in the future.
As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that any disputes that cannot be settled between them and the Sponsor will be resolved individually and not as a part of a class action, exclusively in a court located in New York, New York. Entrants consent to the jurisdiction of the New York federal and state courts regarding any such disputes. These disputes will be governed by New York laws. Entrants are not entitled to recover any punitive, incidental, consequential damages, or attorneys’ fees, except for actual out-of-pocket expenses incurred from participating in the Sweepstakes. Each participant gives up the right to a trial by jury. All applicable laws and regulations apply.

SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION: While the Sweepstakes may be featured on platforms like Twitter or Facebook, it is not sponsored or managed by these sites, and they are not liable for any claims or losses connected to the Sweepstakes.
WINNER(S) LIST: To get the names of the prize winners after the Selection Date, please send a stamped, self-addressed No. 10/standard business envelope to Ziff Davis, LLC, Attn: Legal Department, 360 Park Ave South, Floor 17, New York, NY 10010 (VT residents can omit return postage).
