Pretty Much Perfect!
The Xpro is a huge improvement over the X1T. Itâs hard to even believe they were made for the same purpose by the same company and are only one generation apart. Every single area the X1T fell short, the Xpro delivers on.Thereâs a huge, beautifully backlit screen which shows tons of info for up to 5 channels at once or zoomed in to see each channel individually. This screen means the settings are much easier to figure out and the menus are far, far easier to navigate. Of course, you can quickly turn on HSS and rear curtain sync from here and set each group in a different mode if youâd like.To help with that, there are a LOT of buttons and dials on here, all clearly labeled (unlike the X1T), letting you choose each group with the push of a button then quickly change its settings. The dial feels smooth and high quality as does everything else with the build quality.Speaking of build quality, itâs quite a different form factor from the X1T. This is a bit taller so you can attach and detach from your camera more easily (the X1T was a bit close to the body and sometimes hard to get a good grip to unscrew it when it was on there tight). Although it appears much larger, itâs actually surprisingly compact, which is nice.Add to all that a few cool extras like the new TCM function and ability to choose if youâre working at closer or longer distances to avoid misfires with flashes close to the trigger, you get one of the best wireless triggers on the market. With an already really strong range of speedlights, strobes and hybrids like the AD200, the Xpro has made me even more confident to completely jump over to their system.

Tricky to use with CANON mirrorless cameras
It works great. No issues there and easy to decipher the controls. On CANON mirrorless cameras the contact points for the hotshoe don’t align well. If you just slide it into the shoe the contacts will not line up. you have to pull it back outward slightly until you feel it click before it will function. Same with the GODOX flash I use this with. Not a huge issue but if bumped just right (or wrong) it will fail to function until you realign it.

Easy to use!
SO easy to use! Connected to my flash pretty much as soon as I turned it on without much effort from me. Easy setup is a great selling point!

Like it
This is my first foray into radio controlled triggers, I have a Canon 5d Mark IV, Canon 580exII speedlights and a godox sk4000II strobe. After a bit of tinkering, I managed to put the trigger on the hot shoe, and get the strobe to fire as well as the speedlights. Note that you will need the Godox X1 receiver for the speedlights. The only issue I had was sync-ing the camera to the trigger. To accomplish that, one needs to do a half push on the shutter release. That activates the metering, which sync’s the camera and trigger. Once they are sync’d, the flash fires when the shutter is released. Note I haven’t tried the TTL, as I shoot in manual with flashes. The trigger also has a focusing beam similar to the speedlights.I only ordered one receiver, but I intend to order one for each speedlight now. I was happily surprised that this trigger fired both the strobe and the speedlight. Another nice feature is that the individual flashes can be controlled by the trigger (set modes, flash strength, etc) No need to physically do that at each flash. Convenient when one has two or three flashes going. And finally the trigger shows up in the “External flash menu” in camera. Another means of controlling some flash functions. I think pretty good for the money

Got it accidentally
Amazing product. I was extremely hesitant on this Xpro transmitter and triggers. I wanted a Canon transmitter and I didnât think I would ever change my mind. Plus my mind wasnât having it. Lol. I kept messing up and I couldnât get this thing to really work until I had time to really sit down and focus on the items. Got it to work by accident. Lol. I was falling asleep at the table trying to understand the directions. Press the manual button (I guess) and I got up because I heard a click and a flash. BAM!!!!!! I got it. I have been playing around with this none stop. Works more than what I expected. Fast cycle time with no issues. Looks cool on my camera. I love it. Thanks guys.

The Godox X system is a dream to use, all of their products work flawlessly together, even with multiple brands of camera firing the same flashes. The only 2 minor improvements I’d like on a future model are:- a QR mount to hotshoe .- i.e. the lever on Canon flashes rather than the screw-knob- modelling light brightness control (currently it can only do on/off, even if the studio flashes have multiple modelling light brightnesses to choose from)Overall it’s amazing, I’ve used many previous flash controllers from multiple manufacturers and this is the best … I hope they release an Olympus/Panasonic version soon as I’m using the older model on my other camera and it’s not as easy to use as the new Xpro model (although still 100% reliable)

Iâve been using the same trigger for ages and have no issues with it. I bought one more for another camera. I have no idea why oriole pay triple price for the brand name: Canon, Nikon etc. It works smoothly, precisely, reliably. The seller has the best price range on the market. The item was delivered before the promised date.

I chose it for its “wireless TTL” – no more tangled cables! I needed something efficient and easy to handle for my photo projects. Robust, responsive, and precise in its settings, this trigger is a gem. It literally changed the way I look at photography, with stunning results.Flop: a manual that requires a degree in cryptology and the patience of an angel to understand all its features.EVERY time I forget the shortcuts and I blow upGet your hands on it by testing different configurations. And keep an eye on the battery, it can fail you if you get too caught up in your shoot! The remote A brilliant investment for those who want to take their photos to the next level. With a little patience and a lot of experimentation, prepare to be dazzled!
