Solid Bluetooth adapter
Works really well. I can walk around my whole house and it doesnât start to lose connection until Iâm outside. Since itâs through usb itâs super simple to install. Iâd definitely buy one of these again.

quality
I am very impressed with the TP-Link USB Bluetooth Adapter for PC. This little device has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and ease of use. Setting it up was incredibly simple. It was truly plug and play on my Windows 11 desktop, and the drivers installed automatically without any issues. The adjustable antenna is a fantastic feature that helps extend the range significantly. I am able to maintain a stable connection even when my Bluetooth headphones are in another room.

Rough installation, Great performance
Installation kind of chaotic:I had to talk to Deepseek and have it help me install the driver on my Windows 10 gaming PC. In the end after 5 install attempts using the default driver and then the specific driver from the support website, I was able to install the driver and disable my PC’s default bluetooth driver that comes with the Intel CPU by:Turning off FirewallsTurning off Anti VirusAnd running the driver setup.exe as AdminThis kind of sketched me out so I thought I’d mention it in case anyone else bought this. I can say that worked and my computer didn’t explode.Works Really well!Ok, lastly, I want to say I struggled with PS4 controllers not being able to connect to my PC and stay connected. In the past Idk how many things I tried to get the built in bluetooth card to work. I had the same issue with my last PC and so I thought I must be doing something wrong. The PS4 controllers would connect briefly but then disconnect often or whenever I tried connecting another one. SO I’ve have a hub with long cables all over the place just to be able to play wired with multiple controllers. I just want you to understand the trials I’ve endured to get a PS4 controller to simply work. Anyway, once this bad boy was up and running I’ve never had a problem and I could probably connect hundreds of controllers no problem, idk. But even with the installation difficulties, I love this thing like my own son.

Works with no problems, easy setup
Ours is a NetGear house, so I don’t know why I ordered a TP-Link. I say this because my 5 stars is a meaningful review, in spite of not normally going for TP-Link equipment. This was very easy to install and configure, and it works flawlessly. Which is good because I’m using it on a Dell Latitude that’s only 1 or 2 years old, but the Bluetooth has always had an intermittent problem.

Get this BT adapter with antenna if youâre experiencing BT lag!
Excellent BT (bluetooth) connectivity! This unit replaced my other plug-in BT 5.3 usb device that does not have the antenna. This existing plug-in BT device was to replace the built-in BT device of my mini PC running Windows 11.I use BT for my wireless keyboard with buil-in touch pad in my home theater. Before this unit, my keyboardâs touch pad had lots of lag. I initially suspected it was the keyboard, so I ended up ordering two (2) more. They all ended up having the same lag where the touchpad would not track properly. I would move my finger across the touchpad and the mouse on the screen would not move or move several seconds later or erratically.Looking for a possible replacement keyboard, I noticed that customers complained about the general lag with other BT keyboards. It dawned on me then that the BT lag issue was most likely due to the BT adapterâs signal strength. So I ended up purchasing this new BT adapter with the antenna. Now with this new BT adapter, all previous touch pad lag has gone. I now have two (2) BT keyboards connected simultaneously and can use both keyboards with zero lag! If you currently encounter lag issues with your BT keyboard with built-in touch pad, I highly recommend this BT 5.3 adapter with antenna!

Worked to fix laggy connection in a high-interference environment
Bought this to see if it would help in a dense work environment where a Thinkpad’s built-in bluetooth was laggy (from a Logitech mouse about 2ft away). Disabled the onboard chip and installed this and now everything is rock solid, buttery smooth. Shame there’s not an easy to use tool that will help you diagnose that you have degraded signal to begin with (could come from a number of different places), but this is a good starting point if you’re desperate like I was.

worth the price, best in category
this is some wifi magic. first hand experience was it delivers faster speed than those micro network cards in laptop and min-pc. I was surprised. its a good comp accessory to keep handy. like this network adaptor alot. tp-link website has drivers, easy to find. I own tp-link extender which has been in use for constant-on for over a year. so I chose this brand. good buy. if I ever had a desktop pc, I would just use this instead of a full-size network card –for wifi

Had an issue connecting to multiply devices and initially thought it was this stick … but it was actually the version of Windows 11 I was using so I downgraded from the windows feature I was on to a more stable one and presto. Not only does this connect easily … no more cut outs like I had from my internal bluetooth! The connection and range are 10 stars!

I replaced a Blue tooth dongle that stopped working with this.I don’t know how long range normal blue tooth is, But this blue tooth device will send a signal (reasonably accurately)So using a blue tooth meter (I don’t know how accurate that is)But, at 60 feet away, I get -75 dBm signal (week 1 bar)and at 30 feet away I get -61 dBm (Nice 3 bars)and right beside it I get -30 dBm (all 6 bars)It seems to work good.
