Customers say
Customers find the backpack to be high quality, spacious with plenty of room for gear, and appreciate its medium size that accommodates 500 mm lenses. They like its compact design and consider it good value for money, with one customer highlighting its excellent internal spaces and finishes. The comfort and padding receive mixed feedback – while some praise the fabric material and nice padding, others find the shoulder strap uncomfortable and note the shoulder strap could use more padding.

Pretty Slick Camera Bag for Light – Medium Excursions
Sick bag for the price. Traveled around Europe for 14 days with this thing and I was impressed. So many utility pockets with great zippers. Camera was super easy to “swing” into access mode, or to open a pouch and change a filter. Never even had to take it off. A 25oz Camelbak Chute water bottle fit snugly into the side slot. Does NOT hold a 32oz.Over all I really like the design. The semi-hardshell portions feel sturdy enough to probably survive a light drop from a few feet onto a hard surface, but I’m not the kind of person to test these things. If you’re looking to pack light it’s great. It you need to bring multiple lenses and camera bodies this probably isn’t your cup of tea.I use a Canon 80D with Tamron 16-400 and both fit fine. Even left me some space to stick a souvenir or two in there while on city treks.Took it through light rain without the (included rain shield cover) and it was fine. Had it been pouring I definitely would have put the additional cover on because the pack in and of itself isn’t 100% water proof without the cover.Small critique, if the padding on the shoulder harness was a little wider and more cushiony I think this thing would be an absolute gem.I’m 6foot 3in and this thing had plenty of adjustment for easy or hard hikes, tight or looser fit.9/10 for sure.

Compact yet holds a 500 mm lens WITH camera attached, a 300 mm lens AND binoculars!
Wow. I can’t believe what this little bag holds. It easily fit my 500 mm lens WITH my Nikon D5600 camera attached as well as my Nikor 300 mm lens and binoculars with room to spare. It has a nice strap with a clasp that holds your camera in place when you open up the bag. Smart. I didn’t need one of the small inserts, so I added it to the bottom of the bag where my lens sits to add additional protection, since it seemed like it needed it and there are plenty of velcro padded pieces in the bag to spare. The fabric is a nice, heavy canvas and seems like it will wear well, but it is light so doesn’t add significant weight. I’m a small female, and every ounce counts in the field, so that was a huge plus. I originally purchased a bag (and promptly returned it) that was 4X as expensive and insanely heavy when empty. It had very little padding, was poorly set up for camera gear and not nearly as well made or compact as the little bag. The other storage features are also exceptional and compact. The front, outside pocket of this bag easily holds your camera charger (and extra phone battery charger if you need it in the field), the bag’s rain cover and any other bulky items you need in the field like snacks or field guides. The snap and strap combination on this pocket is a little odd, but it works fine. That may be my only complaint about this bag. The inside has two tiny pockets designed perfectly for extra batteries/SD cards. The other larger inside pocket is just an opening without a clasp, snap or zipper can hold your lens pen, keys, phone, and whatever else you don’t want to carry that is relatively small like a small notebook. LOVE THIS BAG!!!! I looked for a long time for a bag that would do everything I need and this is the one. Highly recommend.

Professional quality, brilliant design.
As a full time professional photographer for decades, I have used many different bags. This is the best designed bag Iâve ever seen. It comfortably holds both my Hasselblad XD2 medium format and lens but also holds my Sony 6600. Plus both flashes! There still room for an extra lens. And thereâs plenty of room left over including the 4 outer storage. Thatâs right! Four!Itâs a âslingâ type bag with both cameras easily accessible, including from the side zipper, all while the bag is on your shoulder. Itâs unbelievably compact. The quality is outstanding and will give me many years of service. Bravo âTarionâ!

Decent Small Camera bag for Price
First off – I liked that Tarion packages their bag in a plastic bag in a cardboard box. When i pulled out the bag, it was in perfect shape. I bought another bag so I could choose between the two and that less expensive product was packaged in only a plastic bag. The bag was all squished and its shape was significantly less than perfect.I like the material on this Tarion bag. It has a quality look and feel, especially in comparison with the other bag brand starting with letter A.Tarion bag has decent zipper pull cords vs the other bag. Double zipper pull cords on main compartment and single zipper pull cords on all other compartments. The zipper itself is small teethed. More expensive bags will have larger zippers. However, the zipper will support a smaller mirrorless camera.Tarion bag has two full size low profile separate zippered compartment in addition to the larger upper compartment and the lower main compartment. In the separate upper, the outer material is a hard knock resistant cover. This compartment is in front of the larger upper compartment. I put extra batteries, charger plug, cables here. There is also a separate compartment like the upper one right in the front of the main compartment. This one is more low profile and you can put thinner items like lens cloth, instruction book, cables, etc.The protection cushioning is decent through the design of the Tarion bag. It will be better on more expensive bags, but it was better than Brand A and in general was pretty decent. There is a pouch on one side of the bag that can handle a water bottle. It is all solid material which looks clean. Brand A is just mesh with a thin elastic strap. Both bags had an additional strap to secure a taller thin water bottler or tripod.Tarion has a decent cushioned top carrying handle if you wish to carry the bag by hand. Brand A was just a thin strap of material.Tarion also has a rain bag.All in all the Tarion bag can support a mirrorless camera solution for $50-$60. Tarion could use another zipper mesh interior pocket or two. It would be nice. Also i wish the bottom of the side pocket would open fully to support a water bottle pushed to the bottom. Currently the side pocket opens wide and it tapers as you get to the bottom. Also it would be nice if upper compartment had some straps or partition controls and maybe a zippered mesh pocket. Lastly it would be nice to have a support hook in both the larger upper compartment and the lower main compartment. I could attach a plastic or metal carabiner in both hook or support loops. Then i could connect to my camera case in the event my camera escapes the bag and is about to crash on the ground. A couple internal tether point would be easy to add.I will give this bag a go and see how it goes.

This bag was EXACTLY what I was looking for!Pros:- fits all of my current lenses, with room for my 13″ laptop & even my agenda!- has room for my Speedlite, an extra battery & even my Speedlite’s remote!- handles on top make it easy to quickly grab this bag and goCons:- the straps don’t really adjust… I opened a button and now everything fits better against my back

I have dozens of slings and backpacks of all sizes and shapes and so far this is my favourite and best one and the most used – from biking to hiking. It holds everything I need – surprisingly roomy for its size and still very comfortable. It’s lightweight toi begin with and the build quaility is superb. Lots of pockets in all the right places and easily accessible. Straps are nice, lengthy and strong. Drink holder is stretchy for small or large drink containers and easy to access.. Highly recommended

I’ve wanted a smaller camera bag for when I don’t want to lug a large camera bag pack about but still want to carry accessories and lenses. This bag does the job brilliantly, I’ve only had it a few days but took it out on Sunday for a hike and a shoot..It holds my 5D with a 70-200mm lens in the main section (just, it’s a bit snug) with space for a couple of smaller lenses like a nifty fifty. The main front cover can be used as a side access pocket for quick access which was a must for me. It’s really quick to use and works well. The hard case pocket is nice for cards, chargers, batteries etc. and there are plenty of other pockets and pouches; far more than my larger Tarion roll top bag. Finally, the smaller pocket could hold a smaller camera. I can fit a 90D in it. I’m not sure I’d use it for that but it’s good that it could. It’s an amazing bag for its size, weight and cost. I can’t comment on the longevity but it looks well made. Highly recommended.
