Broad Compatibility: Equipped with a 50mm NATO Rail, this top handle works with any camera cage that has two 1/4″ threaded holes. The handle slides onto the NATO Rail and can be easily secured with the built-in knob, simplifying assembly and disassembly.

5 Integrated Cold Shoe Mounts: The front of the handle includes 3 cold shoe mounts, and the rear features 2, allowing you to connect up to 5 external devices at once, such as an LED light, monitor, microphone, transmitter, and more.
12 Threaded Mounting Holes: There are ten 1/4″ threaded holes and two 3/8″ threaded holes for ARRI compatibility, enabling the attachment of additional accessories, like monitor mount 2903B and magic arm 2066B.

Love the quality
Works as described. Easy to use/attach to my SmallRig cage. Build is excellent, feels real sturdy and able to trust it carrying my A7iii by just this handle. Mounting feels like a million bucks. Love the design, easy to attach other accessories. Would buy again for my next camera

Best Smallrig handle
UPDATE: Smallrig reached out and helped resolve the issue. It’s a very nice handle for the money. Not sure why its so cheap actually.Great solid handle and I love grabbing onto it BUTTTT… It’s picky with its rails. It will lock onto the rail it came with but trying it on a Smallrig rail which looks identical to the one it came with wont lock on. It wont lock onto a Neewer S5ii cage. It wont lock onto a Nitze Video Assist cage. A bit strange that it didnt want to lock onto the same brand independent rail.So watch out. it may seem like it’s locked on but if you push it to the side a little, it will slide. There is a very small limit to how far the lock can go so I sensing a design flaw. Im thinking everyone is using this handle with the included rail and giving this handle 5 stars.

Excellent addition to the SmallRig camera cage!
There couldn’t be a better attachment for the smallrig camera cage than the NATO handle. I use this attachment all the time and I absolutely love it. A heavy duty yet lightweight aluminum design is durable for heavy use. The handle itself provides so much versatility for different shooting styles. It increases stability when performing low shots, high shots, and is ideal for quick movements. The handle helps with balancing out your camera rig as well making it easier to carry and use for longer periods of time.The handle also includes a cold shoe mount which is ideal for mounting a myriad of different accessories. I typically mount my shotgun microphone to the cold shoe mount. It just works really well where it’s positioned. I could see a small video light being great for this location as well. Having a NATO top handle like this one really opens up some creative doors in the sense of different shooting styles. It gives you the ability to hold your camera rig in different ways and allows you to get unique angles that you otherwise couldn’t get without it.I always talk about the quality and durability of Smallrigs products and the NATO top handle doesn’t fall short. It’s a great design and fits well in the hand and above all, it’s comfortable to use. Highly recommend the Smallrig ecosystem if you are looking for great camera accessories!

A Handle that keeps giving
We decided to move to the NATO Rail system and we will NOT be going back! This has saved so much time in rigging. Well designed and strong. I feel confident running this on my R5c Rig. Has plenty of cold shoe mounts which helps the rig balance out well when it comes to rigging a light, mic and monitor. Great Product. SmallRig is bring it to the table!

Just wish it was a little longer
Love Smallrig products and this one is no exception, but the handle is a tad short, especially if you have big hands like me. Sturdy little handle, though. Worth the money.

Excellent fit and great to have on the rig
the handle fit onto my rig nicely and it even came with the hex wrench to attach it which was unexpected but nice. The handle itself has a rough plastic coating to help with grip and it fits my hands quite nicely. I enjoy all the additional mounting options it brings

Perfect for my needs! The SmallRig NATO Top Handle is lightweight, sturdy, and fits easily onto my DSLR camera cage.
