5 stars for 5 bars of signal
Disclaimer: I have a degree in microwave communication…..This was for my Mom’s house in a mountain valley. Weak signal, dropped calls. Her solar panels were blocking/shunting much of the low signal that got to her. Her average reception in the house was 1 or 2 bars on an iphone, and 50% dropped calls when she was at 1 bar. My phone was 2-3 bars at best (S24 ultra). This thing, once tuned and installed correction took both of us to 5 bars. There was a 20x improvement in signal strength and a 10x improvement in data transfer (3.97gbps to 44.4gbps). This actually ALSO improved signal for her within about 30′ of the house outdoors in any direction. This is a MUST have if you have this issue. The unique thing about this unit is the display, so you can tune it to the frequency band you need by watching the display while you aim the outdoor antenna. Mom’s antenna is only a couple feet above the gutter line, and that’s all it needed. Do your homework. You need to know your phone’s frequency band and you need to find out what nearby towers are broadcasting that band, as the antenna is directional.

Adequate
Doesnât use much energy and the display is helpful but hard to read in bright light. I get a lot of oscillating readings it would be nice if there was an explanation on what this means but it certainly makes my ATT phone better than a paperweight

Boosted the signal fine
Needed an signal booster in a 1200 sf metal building that acted as a Faraday cage.Read alot of reviews and decided to install one with ease.Outside the shop my Verizon phone showed 2 bars.Inside the shop it shows 5 bars with no problems.Very pleased with the results.I recommend it…….

Perfect solution to bring reception inside
Why I got this? I didn’t want to get a micro-cell because it depends on the local internet which can get cut. I wanted something that actually boosted the radio signals and this unit delivers. The evidence is in the bandwidth gain observed with it on and off in my house.Overall I was getting some significant speed reductions where this unit brought it up to expectations⢠Works great, used maps and guide to aim the antenna correctly⢠Highly suggest using google earth (desktop version) to see the terrain changes between towers. It really helped me pick the best line of site one.⢠Information display is useful, shows what’s working and what is not.⢠Performance gain is a solid win for me. In my basement I got really bad reception which resulted in about (down/up) 10/.5 MB/s rates. Adding the booster pulled that up significantly to 80/10.5.⢠Reception outside on my pixel6 was not great. One important thing to know is that this wont boost significantly as that’s a new FCC rule. Consider this a carry signal with a slight boost. As to that, I can get decent indoor reception now though a 20×24 area and the floor above. It does fade though walls quickly.⢠Phone calls are reliable now, before they were problematic⢠Does consume a bit of power. I have it enabled (via smart plug) for 13 hours which reports 0.1kwh of usage on a clear day. This is impacted with reception, rain will drop the power usage by a little.⢠Snow does impact this but that’s expected at the elevation I have it.⢠It’s been running from 7am to 8pm ever since I got it. It does get slightly warm but nothing concerning. So far super stable and reliably giving me my phone back in my dead zone.Suggested extra purchase: A lightning arrestor. Get one as this will be a pipeline into your building. A 3GHz arrestor does the trick and does not impact the signal quality.

Nice nice nice!
This is nice to have when you need a little boost of cell signal strength. Now, this does a really good job of behaving as a repeater/extender for cell telephone signal but doesn’t really push the data side. So, expect to be able to make and receive calls nicely but data is going to be very hit or miss and in my experience most cases a miss. But this is very easy to setup and really works on it’s own.

Not what we thought it would do
I was hoping this would help my dad with his T-mobile service but unfortunately it did not boost his signal. I cannot comment as to how well it works being that no additional signal was boosted. We returned the item since it did not help.

Very cool device – I like that it shows power per band
This cellular booster is easy to use and works pretty well. You just point the log periodic directional outdoor antenna towards the cell source (the narrow end), then connect the cable from the antenna to the indoor unit and plug in the indoor unit. Your cell then sees the indoor unit as a cell antenna. It works pretty well, though I haven’t been able to get 5G on it. Definite improvement over normal reception in the places where I’ve tested it out.the indoor “SignalBrick” unit is very cool. I really like that it is so easy to mount and shows you the power levels of the different cellular bands and the gain. This helps out a bit with pointing the outdoor antenna.good value – recommended!

Recently moved, and been having some issues with signal on some devices, so picked this up help strengthen the signal a little. The base booster unit itself is quite robust and feels well made and solid with a bit of weight to it. I suppose it’s subjective and aesthetics may not matter at all to some, but for myself the device at least doesn’t look bad. Didn’t feel like the quality carried through from the base unit to the antenna setup though which feels a bit cheaper. The cable and mounting of the antenna is where most of the effort is required. May be worth testing before going through the trouble of mounting the antenna first since some of reported some issues just to potentially save yourself some headache and wasted time. It’s not rocket science, but there is some labor & testing involved for a proper setup. Figuring out what to do with the cable/wiring is probably the most annoying part of the endeavor.Signal clarity and internet and transfer speeds streaming and all of that is all important to me. I do a lot at home working with mobile or internet, so for my personal needs – improving signal strength or speeds is always going to be a net positive as it impacts the day to day. Value is going to be subjective and vary dependent on expectations and needs though from person to person. I imagine this could be a lot more useful in some scenarios than others. But for me, every little bit counts.Likes:- Relatively straight forward setup.- The base booster device is fairly robust feeling and well made.- Booster device itself doesn’t look terrible at least.- Good area coverage.- Boost to help improve signal in an area that is struggling to remain stable.Dislikes:- Can be a bit laborious, with the cable, mounting & targeting.- The quality of the antenna setup isn’t really quite at the same standard as the base booster device itself.

You’d think cell coverage would be better in this day and age given that I do live in a town of about 40,000 people! But alas, my neighbourhood is known to have poor service for whatever reason, and the community down in the valley… well, they’re really suffering! So, when it finally came to my attention that a consumer-installable product may be able to address the issue I figured it surely can’t hurt to give it a try!I can report that it does take some meaningful time and effort to setup properly if you’re doing it for the first time and/or if you are lacking confidence. You’ve got to mount the thing high up on your house for best results, run a cable, figure out which direction to point it, and then most likely you’ll need to fine-tune the direction of the external antenna… possibly a few times. And it’s super frustrating when an adjustment makes it worse. But patience will likely pay off.Once everything was finally configured, having followed the instructions carefully, the cell performance has been “night and day” compared to what it was before! (Okay, I may be exaggerating… but only a little.) No more “I’m losing you” or buffering when trying to watch something on a cellphone if I happen not to be on wifi for some reason. Ultimately, I’m pretty happy with the SignalBrick Cell Phone Booster. =)

First off, it’s plug and play and does work. The quality of the computing component is good, and feels almost like some type of cast aluminum. There are no buttons and it’s pretty much just plug in and it starts up automatically. The outdoor antenna however is not as nice quality, and it seems the white plastic part is actually just a snap on cover for the actual antenna inside. The seam however isn’t well sealed, which makes me wonder about the long term outdoor viability due to water getting into the antenna portion. Where I’m using it is fairly sheltered so I’m not too worried, but it’s something to keep in mind. If used in a more exposed area I’d recommend sealing it if possible. In terms of actual use it works well, but be aware that the receiving antenna is quite sensitive to the broadcasting one. There has to be quite a bit of distance between the receiving and broadcasting antenna, otherwise it’ll give you some type of oscillation error. I’m not very knowledgeable with regards to the physics of it, but as far as I can tell it has to do with insufficient distance/poor positioning of the exterior and interior antennas. I needed to get mine about 40ft away from each other and through 2 walls before it would properly work. However, once it was working I was happy with the results, especially considering it’s cheaper than some of the other options I’ve used out there.

The cell phone booster is a great way to boost the signal for a mobile device and works with all major Canadian carriers up to 5G speeds. The directional antenna needs to be pointed in the direction of the antenna for your carrier, and the signal will then be boosted internally into the house. If you are in a cabin or on the edge of a signal this will give you a few bars of extra signal. Great for home or cabin use!

The installation is cumbersome. The outdoor antenna is a directional antenna. You need to pay attention to the direction of the antenna to the signal tower; (You can download the cell towers App to check the signal towers near your house)This mobile phone signal booster is suitable for home use and can cover an area of ââup to 3,000 square feet.Supports band 12/17, band 13, band 5, band 2/25 and band 4/66 of Canadian operators, including 3G, 4G and 5G LTE networks of Bell, MTS, SasKTel, TELUS and Rogers. With a display screen, you can clearly display the current signal status;Since it does not require the indoor and outdoor antennas to keep a certain distance, it can also be installed in a small house. With this device, you can enhance the signal quality of your mobile phone at home, improve call quality and data transmission speed. Suitable for areas with weak signals or poor indoor signal coverage.
