【Variable ND Filter】 Neewer ND2-ND400 variable filter reduces the amount of light reaching the camera sensor, allows you to take photos in various conditions with slower shutter speeds and wider apertures, perfect for capturing rivers, waterfalls, light streaks and other moving objects with dynamic motion blur.
High-quality materials: the Japanese NITTO polarising film guarantees optimal neutrality as well as precise contrast and colour reproduction. With superior 4-element optical glass and 42-layer multi-resistant coatings, this ND filter lets you take photos and videos with confidence.
【Multiple Nano-Coatings】42 nano-coatings with a minimum light reflectance of 0.1% can block ultraviolet rays from 300nm to 380nm and reduce flare and ghosting. Multi-resistant coatings protect the filter against moisture, oil, dust and scratches.
【Ultra Slim Design】 The ultra-thin 9.5 mm lens with precise thread is easy to mount. The wide outer frame prevents vignetting of your shots and is ideal for wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
【Note 1. X-shaped glare or ghosting may appear when light is reduced to ND256. 2. Actual ND effects may differ to Min and Max brands as well as in different environments. 3. For long exposure, please buy ND1000 or ND2000 filters. 4. For this 77mm ND filter, the lens cap/cover should be 82mm.

Customers say
Customers find the ND filter works well, with one mentioning it performs particularly well on sunny days. If you think these are bad⦠itâs user error
Pretty good. People saying theyâre bad donât know how to use these. Follow directions and these will work wonders.-only issue is you can use lens covers or hoods with these

Great adjustable filter
Pros: works as advertised. The sliding design that allowing for gradual shifts from almost no light filtering to nearly all light filtering is amazing. Seems to be very nice quality and arrived with what appears to be a well-made protective case. The cost seems very reasonable for what I received.Cons: I would actually appreciate if the turning (for filtering adjustment) was just a touch ‘stiffer’ or had a way to lock it into a specific place (I know I’m asking a lot here for such a little filter). I found it was relatively easy to bump it and end up with more light entering than I expected. This was a very minor issue that certainly could be (and is now) dealt with by exercising more caution.Would absolutely buy again. Bought for the 2024 eclipse in North America and the lens filter performed beautifully.

Good up to about 5 stops. Great customer service!
Living in a snowy area, ND filters really help me manage light in my photos. Especially on a sunny day or pointing at a light source. I’ve experienced some challenges with this product but have also achieved some pretty good images using it. I’ve attached some overexposed images to better show an ‘X’ anomaly I had with a 120° lense at 8-9 stops. I’ve also attached some better images at 3 to 5 stops. Seems this ‘X’ issue is common with variable ND filters. Also, I’ve experienced and exceptional level of customer service regarding this and the folks representing this product have really come through to help me work through this issue. I started at a 1* review but have revised to a 4* because of this and now have a better understanding of variable ND filters and that this ‘X’ is just unavoidable under certain conditions.

Terrible
6/29/2023 Issue resolved by Neewer customer service.I purchased 2 sizes of nd filters for my new Canon RF lenses. The nd filters case cross’ on the images and ruin the images completely. I got them specially for our trip to Germany since we would be in the country side and wanted to do landscape photography. At lower nd settings at first it seems ok. But once you get to 7-9 for longer exposures, it does not work properly.

Better than it deserves to be.
Perfect for what I need it for (neewer iPhone camera cage). The stops were easy to work and allowed me to use the native ISO of the iPhone in day time – 1250 ISO.

Is cheap becareful
Is a filter that do a lot of things but is cheap use it carefully, controls the light in sectors thats why u have to do the correct framing and have to put the “variable” ring in the right position.Always sorprised of the great image that phones can do this days, go on and have fun!
