Title: Nice compact air fryer
Review: I had a 4 quart version of this that I loved, but I was ready to upgrade to a larger size. I love this one! It’s still compact enough for my apartment countertop, has a ton of settings, works great, and the warning beeps are even less annoying than my old one. It seems to be of good quality and the controls are pretty easy to use. My food comes out nice and crisp every time and is comparable to the cook time of my smaller version. The light feature is nice as well. Easy to clean.

Title: My new best friend!
Review: Okay I’ll say right off, maybe I should get more friends! But as a man who is a self-styled amateur chef, I have been pining for one of these types of cookers for a couple of years now. I always find a way to squeeze in one more item on the countertop.I choose this model based on reviews, features and brand name. I use my Instant Pot pressure cooker on a semi-regular basis and it is also a great cooking appliance, so I trust the brand name, and it doesn’t disappoint.I first took the air fryer into the garage and ran it through a couple of cycles before using it in the kitchen. There was clearly some smell as noted elsewhere, likely from manufacturing. By the time I used it “for real” on the 3rd run, barely any smell. And by the next time…no discernable smell at all.My complaints are small, but let me get those out of the way. I wished it preheated up to temp faster. It’s advertised in such a way that you think in 60 seconds, you’re cooking. In my experience, it’s 5+ minutes to get it to 400. Faster than an oven for sure, but not quite the blink of an eye I was hoping for. Second – the beeper is not loud enough. It beeps to tell you it’s now at cooking temp, to rotate food or when food is done. For some reason, it seems louder to tell you food is done than it does to tell you the preheating is finished and to add food. You’ve got to be very close, so you can hear (or see) when it’s up to proper temp. Since most foods are specifically timed, if you don’t get your food in shortly after it heats up, it will start counting down whether there is food in it or not. Neither of these takes away from the overall 5 stars.I’ve had it for about 4 weeks and have tried a variety of items. I used the roast feature for skinless salmon. Amazing taste and quick. I found that 10 minutes was perfect for my fish. Others might find mine slightly overcooked, so experiment.It took about 3 tries for my fresh sweet potato fries to come out perfectly. I finally got it right at 20 minutes at 400 in the basket using the air fry function. Evenly cooked and delish.I did homemade coconut shrimp. I can’t remember the exact time – it seems like 12 minutes at 380 but I’m going by memory. There are recipes out there to cross-check my memory. Again – used the air fry function.Baked potatoes were the best I’ve ever made at home. If you like potato skin, check this out. I rubbed them in olive oil, then lightly sprinkled sea salt, black pepper, and a blend of spices that is mostly garlic powder on the outside. These were large potatoes but I guessed and I guessed right – 400 degrees on bake setting for 50 minutes. Perfectly done inside and a nice crispy and tasty skin. You’ll have to take a stab at it based on potato size. HUGE potatoes could be up to 60 minutes. Small taters – might be as low as 25 or 30 minutes.Other items I’ve done are quick prep items. Some frozen and breaded shrimp were perfectly done at 8 minutes at 400. Frozen tater tots same temp at 8-10 minutes. I sprayed a light coating of olive oil and salt on the tator tots. Crispy and delish.Everything so far has been easy and delicious. I have not used all functions – only bake, air fry, and broil so far.If you’re on the fence and you like to cook, take the leap!3/5/23 update: still really enjoying my air fryer. I find that it makes fish taste amazing. The dinner shown in the photo is flounder and sides. The flounder was cooked about 7 minutes using the broil function. Rubbed a bit of avocado oil, then used some fresh thyme and lemon pepper seasoning and a touch of garlic spice blend. Squeezed some lemon over the top, and broiled perfectly. I still use it, still enjoy it and continue to recommend it!

Review: Great product! Very fast cooking but it doesn’t over cook the food. Great for French fried foods, fish, potatoes, etc. Burgers, hot dogs, fried or bake fish. Average cook time is 10-12 minutes. Easy clean up. Very reasonable priced at $150! Well made. Easy countertop storage.

Title: Too-sticky sticker, and controversial non-stick.
Review: There was a big dumb warning label on the front of the basket that wasn’t shown in the pictures and was a pain in the butt to remove cleanly, I had to go at it with multiple rounds of goo gone to get rid of the adhesive stickiness, which seriously ticked me off especially because the label was basically just to say “it’s hot” and “buy our instant branded oven mitts” gosh that ticked me off… But! once you get past that this is a seriously great air fryer, the basket is nice and wide which is important for fitting a good amount in there in one layer for airflow, that’s some really great capacity, and the machine looks nice which is good, and it fits well on my countertop under my cupboards which is important, and it’s one of the quieter air fryers you can get which is always nice, the knob and touch buttons are nice and easy to use, I wish it didn’t constantly light up “OFF” when it’s off with the basket inserted, but all of the other buttons aren’t illuminated when it’s off so it does look pretty slick overall, and lastly, and this may be a sticking point for some folks (no pun intended haha) the nonstick coating, it’s absolutely flawless, super easy to clean, nothing sticks, but some people may not like that it’s PTFE, I know people are worried about the forever chemical byproducts of PTFE production polluting the environment, I’ll just selfishly enjoy the safe end product which is still the best non-stick material, it’s made in China anyways so, it’s their environment I’ll just trust them to decide how they handle their manufactory waste product.

Title: Great air fryer with many other functions
Review: My first dive into air fryers! I chose those because it was a good price, was compact and had many functions including dehydrate! I don’t like things on the counter so my intent was to put it in the pantry but it’s been out because it looks nice. Heats up and cooks so quickly! Cook time is really fast and it will chime when it’s ready for food and chimes again to remind you to flip or shake the basket. Great quality so far! Now that I got my toes wet i do wish I bought something a bit bigger . It’s ok for one person but if I wanted to cook more I’d have to do separate batches. But I wanted compact so I have no complaints !

Title: Smell all gone!
Review: So, I got my airfryer 2 days ago….everyone was absoutely correct when they saind this airfryer REALLY stinks when ya first run it….I mean….REALLY reaks of plastic!!Having said that… I first ran it at 400 degrees for 45 mimute intervals approx 5 times…..didnt do much to help it. My house filled up with a very unpleasant plastic smell..So, I then got a small pyrex bowl and filled it way up with vinegar and several big healthy squeezes of lemon juice concentrate……twice……I gotta tell ya…..that did the trick 100%.Tonite I made a baked potatoe and bbq chicken fingers in it. It is an amazing little machine….it really cooks easy….and well. There isnt one single little bit of smell or bad taste of any kind…one of the best purchases I have made in a long time!!! Sure hope this little machine holds up….its a great addition to my kitchen!!!

Review: I bought this because I like my Insta pot so much but when I received it and saw that it was an oven and not a traditional air fryer. I decided I didn’t want it, but failed to return it on time six months later I finally opened it.I have had rotisserie countertops before, and never use them too hard to clean too hard to balance, the food that it actually worked.This one is so simple and works so well. I do whole chickens and small roasts regularly. The roasts are so amazing. I actually had to buy myself a food slicer because I couldn’t bring myself to buying sliced roast when I could prepare them so beautifully.The rotisserie basket is also amazing. I don’t generally eat potatoes, but I had to do some chips just to try it and they were so simple and such a hit. I do wings in it both marinated and dry. Once you do your roasted cauliflower in it, you’ll never do it other way.It’s also fantastic for reheating.The best I have been able to do with pizza is actually cooking the crust bottom first and then cooking the pizza. Any tips for how to get a great crispy pizza would be appreciated.The biggest reason I did not want a traditional oven air fryer was cleaning, but I am surprised at how amazingly easy it is to keep clean the door coming off is a great idea. Also, I’m not sure what they made the basket up but it also cleans extremely well.The tray on the bottom is a perfect place for some beer or wine while using the rotisserie

It has been more than seven months now, and I use it almost every day. The performance is still excellent.It cooks food evenly and quickly. I even make eggs in it, and they turn out better than boiled eggs — perfectly cooked and very tasty. Review: This machine has changed my life. For the longest, I have avoided cooking anything in the oven. I am a plant-based kinda person and so many things go faster (with less energy) in a pan/pot vs. the oven.However, this air fryer has totally changed how I cook. I often air-fry veggies before adding them to soups… yummy =) super easy to clean. Love the fact that you can open and close during the cooking without compromising the results.My pre-teen kids’ love to make some sweet potato chips by themselves which is nice and gives parents a break.The only comment I have for the developers is to reconsider the message on the display.When not in use, the machine displays the word OFF. I would prefer something more positive.Like “have a great day, or what’cha cooking today?”. We just keep the drawer a tad open to show no display at all. ;POther than that 5 STARS… definitely recommended =)
