Softbox lighting kit
Overall pleased so far. I like the three settings for light intensity (warm, cold, white). The two user manuals for installing the bulb and hood are helpful, but it would be helpful if the remote control had user instructions to explain some of its features, like elaborating on what the symbols mean. The tripod is very light weight so I realized I have to be careful that the weight of the softbox does not topple the tripod over. I like the portability of the equipment (comes in a tote bag). It’s a nice kit and reasonably priced.

I wanted these to take pics of clothing for my eBay and posh. They are easy to set up, very bulky. Take a ton of room. They are so dim. My pictures still show bad lighting, shadows and wrong colors. But yet meanwhile they hurt my eyes. How are they blinding me yet the pics still come out dark

I bought my soft box lights to photograph my artwork. The quality is better than expected given the price and they do everything I need. Yes, I would recommend these.

I wasnât expecting a lot considering the price, but there are a few significant drawbacks. The stands are quite light and tippy, the lights donât have a Kelvin value (just warm, white and cool, and in between), the two lights are on the same remote frequency so using either included remote adjusts both lights at once, and they arenât that bright for video work. That being said, they are dirt cheap, so itâs hard to expect more. Good for product photography or intro video stuff, but not more than that.
