So far these have worked and stopped that from happening. I have this wrapping my modem, router, phone and other wires that are susceptible to mice that love to eat wire jackets in the winter. I don’t know how many times I’ve lost my phone wire to mouse chew throughs and had to cut it off and replace the plug ends to get the phone to work again. In these wraps, that hasn’t happened in a good long while now. I know, I know, you’re not supposed to bring tech to bed, but let’s be honest… who actually sticks to that rule anymore?These sleeves turned out to be a smart (and surprisingly comfortable) solution. They’re soft, flexible, and roomy enough to fit four cables — one laptop charger and three USB-C cables in my sleeve — with room to spare. The best part is how easy it is to slip one cable out to recharge my phone or smartwatch, then tuck it neatly back in later. No tugging or untangling necessary.They’re also much safer than the old hard plastic cord covers. I’ve rolled over on this sleeve in my sleep and didn’t even notice — it’s that soft. But my husband would probably argue that I could roll over on the old hardcover one and not notice as well. To be fair, I just didn’t poke an eye out or bruise my self either. You can trim the sleeve to any length, though it does fray slightly at the ends. A quick pass with a thread burner or heat source (without the cables inside!) should seal it up nicely. I suspect that if I were to seal the ends that the sleeve would last as long if not longer then the USB cables will, which is my hope that by keeping the cables from getting all tangled up and bent my cables will last longer as well making it worth the money and time to buy the sleeve.Bottom line: my cables are organized, my cat has less cable exposed for her to try to play with, and my nights are tangle-free (it’s nice not having to untangle cords). That’s a win for both me and my feline roomie. I bought this for use in my home to clean up and make less visible a couple exposed wire pairs in my living room. Really impressed with this product! It wraps really nicely, looks great and is easy to use. Stiff enough to straighten the cable runs where I want them to but flexible enough to bend and turn corners as well. It’s a tight weave so you can’t see the black cables through the white wrap at all. I liked it so much I used it a couple places I didn’t original plan to and will definitely use this more in the future, too.
