The contact for the flash and the camera is not compatible
The contact on the flash and the camera is not compatible. The flash has a five-pin contact in the middle the R50 contact is on the outside. The seller advertised that this product would work with a Canon R50, that is not the case.

The flash is hard ti figure out but I’m sure that user error. The reusable battery charger does t work! The charger gets warm and never charges. The light stays red and never goes green and gets warm.
