Review: Hubs has a wide, flat foot – and trouble finding anything that lasts or is comfortable in all footwear. He was nervous about these having a narrower toe and not being an ‘athletic’ shoe, but the lower profile sole is actually better for him and his natural foot shape. It doesn’t make sense to put a flat foot high off the ground or to force an arch.Hubs walks with purpose and is not a small person. He stomps around like an ogre late for work for any reason at all. Has had these shoes in white for a year and they still look great! He’s got to replace the spikes, but has gone through other shoe brands way faster (Skecher, Puma, Adidas). Purchased these in a 12W – true to size. 80% of the time he’s in a 13W or 13 because a 12W in most shoes still squeeze his feet.
