   Where has this been all my life?!
   Update: Found out I can use wireless charger with the kickstand applied at bottom in horizontal position. To note the charger is a stand charger, not a flat, pad style charger.Years past, I reluctantly switch from a phone case I loved and trusted because I realized a kickstand would be beneficial. At that time few cases offered a kickstand, but I ended up finding one and the protection was on par with my prior case…… This time when I updated phone no case was offered by the brand I’d come to love, however, majority of cases now have kickstand feature via a mag safe ring. Great, except, I didn’t want mag safe……. Behold, I stumbled across this attachable kickstand. Perfect! ….. It’s perfectly, and surprisingly, slim to minimize protruding from case/cause unlevel rocking when ph is on flat surface, yet it isn’t flimsy. Well-constructed with quality material and a strong hinge. Comes in an All-n-1 package, i.e., cleaning wipe, dry wipe, 2 adhesive strips and written/illustrated instructions. Easy to apply – recommend position about 1 inch from edge, horizontal alignment seems sturdier unless want to use wireless charging then apply vertically to the side not in the middle. Prepare to use super glue, I used gorilla glue. I don’t understand the hype about 3M adhesive, most things I’ve had with it didn’t hold well and needed a backup adhesive. …. Though the construction and hinge seem good, for long term, lasting use, I feel the need to handle it gently and not with a heavy hand. Meaning, open/close slowly and place phone with care. ……… Also gives my case a unique look that I like. It’s a keeper!

   The Perfect Universal Kickstand
   I’ve never had a phone with a kickstand before but decided I wanted to try one out but wanted to use my own case and not one with a built in kickstand (mostly because they usually put the kickstand in the way of the wireless charging area.) I figured somebody made a universal, stick-on one, but aside from cheap plastic ones I only found this one and the Spigen one. I found the Spigen one first and liked the design but they don’t seem to hold up very well from reviews. Then I found this ESR one which I think looks much better, has better reviews, and appears to be more durable. I made the right choice. I also purchased the UAG Monarch case as I was looking for a phone case that had some type of recessed areas in it that I could stick the kickstand to so it doesn’t stick out beyond the rest of the phone. I had to do a bit of rotary tool work to grind out a spot so it doesn’t look perfect but it works perfectly. You could probably use any case with some thickness but you’d either need to have some ingenuity, a drill press, or CNC machine if you want it to sit perfectly flush in a flat case. Or you can just stick it on top of any case or even the phone itself if you don’t mind having the phone not sit completely flat. In the end I’m happy with the results, the kickstand holds my iPhone 11 Pro Max both vertically and horizontally and the kickstand feels very sturdy like it won’t break with some pressure being applied to it and the hinge mechanism is also very tight and doesn’t feel like it’s going to get loose or flimsy any time soon. My only minor complaint is it’s really hard to dig out the kickstand with your nail if you just trimmed them. Even when they’re longer it’s kinda a tight space and you usually scrape a bit of your nail off on the aluminum edge. They did made a tapered edge to lift the kickstand up with but there’s still a small raised edge on the base of the kickstand that I think is a bit in the way. You could probably grind it down but you’d also ruin the finish and I don’t plan on using it all the time so it’s something I can live with. I’d have to say without a doubt this is the best quality universal kickstand you can buy and there’s a lot of creative ways you can set it up.

   Best one so far
   Solid, reliable, sticks well but you must follow directions. Phone must be clean and dry and once it’s on, it’s on. No moving it or the adherence isn’t good so know where you want to put it. I like it because it’s small and doesn’t interfere with the mag safe or the car holder magnets. Stands a little too straight up and down in the vertical position but not a deal breaker. Very thin, you barely notice it on the phone but not skin cutting thin. Buying my second one for a new phone as I gave the first one away. Everything else had too many drawbacks as I shopped for my new phone so I got the same thing I was happy with.

   Es buen producto, pero no se pega en el iPhone directamente , si tienes funda o carcasa si va bien, pero para eso compro una funda con pata directamente

   今まで外付けのスマホスタンドを使ったことがなかったが、これはとても便利だった。スマホと完全に分離しているタイプのスタンドが煩わしくなったので買ってみた。バンカーリングだとスマホを置いた時ガタガタしてしまうが、こちらなら段差はできるものの、机に置いた時ガタつかない。縦方向に置く時は少し垂直に近すぎるかも。バランスの関係で、横方向に置く時も角度が限られる感じがある。だが、縦はまぁ許容範囲内、横は見やすい角度なので問題ない。質感も金属で安っぽくない。デザインもシンプルで良い。しっかりとした作りだと思う。しかも999円と安価で、場所もとらなくてよい。

   It is very strong, has allowed me to use any case that doesn’t include kickstands like my old spigen case did. The stand is very strong amd the arm does not bend when used. Even after a year of use it is still going strong and I’ve never felt it will break at all. The adhesive on it is also superbly strong, it is currently on my transparent case.
