Title: the lightest adjustable poles on Amazon
Review: They are very lightweight but still feel sturdy.They are adjustable but not foldable and therefore are over 24″ when closed. Which is too much. You can disassemble them for transport and then, they are 21″. Much better but still not great. The smallest segment is just too long. If all the segments were the same size, it would fold smaller. And of course, dissembling them is not great for ease of use.They are actually 164g, not 157g as stated, which is probably measured without the straps. And of course, if you add any of the baskets or rubber tip, they are even heavier. Still, they are at least 40g lighter them other poles and often much more (like 100g lighter. Per pole)And they are still much cheaper (4x cheaper) them other, similarilly designed ultra light poles like Zpacks, Durston or Gossamer Gear.Certainly a great cheaper alternative.

Review: These are nice trekking poles. At my age, the two most important qualities of trekking poles are that they are strong and lightweight. These poles are both. I can carry these with no problem on very long treks. My arms do not get tired. The grips are comfortable. I like that they have the ribbons to wear around the wrist that keeps you from dropping them if you lose hold.The only reason that I did not give these poles 5 stars is because I have purchased another set of poles for the same price that came with a much nicer carrying case and a pouch for the tips. The carrying case for this set is really nothing special and it does not seem that it will last as long as the poles will.
