Title: Extra padding where you need it
Review: Who couldn’t use a little more padding down there when riding a bike for extended periods? Maybe even a little more padding for the rough terrain? Ok now make it a lot of padding. And that’s where these shorts shine.The shorts themselves – stretchy quick dry material like other pairs of workout shorts I have. Then add an inner mesh liner shirt that stays put on your legs without riding up when pedaling. That liner – oh yeah it also has a thick foam padding in the crotch and lower bum area to absorb some impact. It’s a thick gel like material so it stays cushy for the whole ride.Now how about some extras, like 2 front pockets with low profile zippers that are easy to pull up and down and contain your valuables in the pocket instead of falling out on the trail. And another “hidden” pocket on the right thigh of the liner.Round off with an elastic waistband and drawstring for perfect fit, and nice looking material colors so they look good as well.When riding your bike these feel great. When you are just walking around, admittedly, they feel more like you’re wearing a full diaper. Weirdly enough they don’t look like it though.Material, zippers, foam padding, all stitching, etc are of high quality, and there are also some reflective elements on the legs for extra safety.I would definitely recommend these for bike rides, but not so much for general workout, running, walking.

Title: Comfortable Shorts, Padding May Vary
Review: I have a lot of good things to say about these shorts – they feel like they’d be Fabletics which is a good quality for the price. The material is light and breathable, even on the internal layer. My only issue with them is the placement of the padding – despite the shorts being a perfect fit for my figure I feel the padding is more towards the front so I’m mainly feeling discomfort in my thighs and groin area without much padding for my tailbone/glutes. I will continue to wear them and see if they get more flexible as the padding softens but I would say it’s not going to fit the same for everyone. I’m 6’, 240 pounds, and got XL.

Title: Perfect for mountain biking! looser fitting, but has form-fitting interior
Review: I’m a fairly intense mountain biker, and almost always wear padded underwear or shorts while riding bumpy trails. Helps prevent soreness the next day. These pants or something similar are an absolute MUST for anyone wanting to prevent soreness on their groin after intense riding on a lightweight minimalist seat.These are generally higher quality than other padded biking shorts I’ve worn. Normally I just wear padded underwear, but I now realize having it built in to the shorts saves me an extra step. The fabric is looser on the outside, so it breathes readily. The interior is form-fitting and stretchy, so it hugs your legs tight.I really appreciated the silicone band on the inside of the leg holes, it prevents the leggings from riding up while standing/sitting frequently.Pockets are also a welcome addition, and it was very thoughtful putting zippers on them. Keeps phone/wallet/keys secured. Even on a casual ride, I’m always paranoid about my phone falling out, so this helps keep things inside.I’ll continue using this item after the evaluation period, and consider buying more in the future.

Title: Perfect shorts
Review: The material feels lightweight and breathable, and they have a comfortable elastic ends that stays in place without digging in. I also like the comfortable look they’re simple, versatile, and easy to pair with anything, the only downside is the padding in the inside I wish it was more one size, maybe because I went a size higher, but these shorts are very comfortable. It’s better because of the extra layer it has under the shorts

Title: Well designed bike shorts
Review: Any real biker will have a drawerful of bike shorts, and that is my case too. These are going to get a lot of use! Lots of thoughtful design features. There are zip up pockets on each side, and a pocket on the right side of the internal liner. This liner has leg grips to stay in place, while the outside of the shorts are a relaxed hem, and there is an internal drawstring for precise fit. The 7″ length is just above the knees for me. I’m a 38 waist and these shorts in XL fit very well, a bit on the tight side which is good for riding. I’ve only worn them for a couple of rides so far, but all signs are they are durable and will last for many rides. The pad is on the thicker side, which was comfortable although a bit bulky while walking. Especially if you can catch them on sale, these are a very strong value for the money for a quality pair of shorts.

Title: True to size, great padding, trusted brand, good price
Review: We love the Baleaf brand in this house and buy their clothing for our athletic and athleisure activities. Their padded bike shorts are always excellent and these are no different. They fit my husband perfectly (he has a 34” waist and is 5’8” and 185#).The padding is well hidden when you walk but it’s very substantial on the bike. Padding is positioned well across the bottom so no matter how you move on the bike you’re covered.The shorts material is very light and soft while also being moisture wicking. The liner (which the padding is attached to) is a mesh athletic material, kind of Spandex-like but softer and more flexible.There are zippered pockets on each hip. No pockets inside or on the liner. Inside the elastic waistband is a tie you can use to adjust the tightness of the waist.The legs each have a small reflective stripe. It’s probably too small to really do much, but it adds a nice design touch and you can never have too many safety features built in.Overall a great pair of bike shorts for a good price. I trust the Baleaf brand and know these will retain their great quality over lots of rides.
