What a great controller to use!!!
Dear Customer Reviews,I am shocked by the customers negative reviews when it comes purchasing a Power A Moga XP7-X. Many reviewers really want the best of everything. I am shocked and Suprise on how good the product is. I gave a week to test the controller and see what I thought about the controller. I bought it last week and got it in shipment Thursday. I am very pleased with the wireless charging. As far as the wireless charging goes it charges quick same as 15 watts that was use from Samsung. I didn’t notice a slow wireless charging that other experience. All I know is that some viewers will need to upgrade newer phone so it is compatible with wireless charging. Some viewers say that one game didn’t work with Call of Duty Mobile. When anyone buys a new controller should have watch YouTube video or read the description questionnaires about Call of Duty Mobile. As far as Call of Duty Mobile goes it is their fault for not adding the controller support. That is not Power A fault. Call of Duty Mobile should have added HID support.Bluetooth works well. Bluetooth picks up very quick. And it doesn’t take long to pair it. It doesn’t take long to recognize. All of the buttons feel are fantastic for me. I know many of you complained about the controller right thumb stick being too close. It is not that close for me, but I like it because I can rest my thumb. And I know many folks complained about the left and right triggers. To me I don’t think that is not that bad at all. I would prefer the Moga controller over the Xbox controller. The battery lasts long time without not using the wireless charging. I would recommend take the battery brick with you on a long trip. My Samsung galaxy s22+ battery lasts all day long while the controller is on. When I play a game for 4 to 6 hours. My phone pulls at least 50% of the battery up to the half of the day. I don’t use wireless charging unless I go for long trip.I bought this controller was mainly to fit my phone with a case because the controller can expand 7.14 inches wide. The controller is wide without not put a phone in the controller. I like the Moga Controller because of the width and the Xbox Controller width is somewhat too short. I find Xbox controller uncomfortable and not wide enough. Many customers don’t like Micro-USB. The Micro-USB wasn’t really for wireless charging or charging the main battery in the Moga Controller. The Moga Controller has two different modes for an older Xbox 360 and newer Xbox One or newer. There are two different modes. One is called Direct input. Second is called XInput. Microsoft when they release Xbox 360 console. The Xbox 360 and Windows 11 or older supports XInput. The Smartphones and Tablets and Chrome supports Direct Input. The XInput is for Windows 11 or older. The Direct Input is for Smartphones and tablets and websites xbox.com/play and Chrome. The XInput setup is different. You have to hold down select and start for just few seconds. It will switch back and forth from different modes. The Windows 11 or older needs Micro-USB – USB-A cable to connect again make sure you switch modes, and it will work with Windows 11 or older.I did not mess with the programmable buttons. I am not fan of messing with it.The pictures above are an adaptor that has USB Female and USB-Male to plug in the USB-Male. Apparently, Power A forgot to add that adaptor to use it for tablets. Two cables that came in the box only has short cable USB-c and long cable USB-A. I use the long cable that hooks up the adaptor for the pictures above that I show you. What do I think about the product. I absolutely loved the Moga XP7-X Controller. I really don’t think there is nothing wrong with the controller. I am an old school. I am 40 years old. My age dates back Atari and NES and GameCube and Xbox original PS2 PS3 Xbox 360 Wii Nintendo Switch and google stadia and PC. Possibly Xbox Series S for me. Many of you probably are in your 20’s are saying Hey it is 2022 Power A get USB-C! LOL!

Poor quality control. Poor quality in general
There’s no way to show the issues I had right out of the box, but the controller connected to my fold 4 the first time and never connected again. The entire left side of the controller doesn’t work. I used octopus to check the mapping, and it is for sure not signaling at all. The controller won’t connect via Bluetooth or USB. The first thing I noticed out of the box is the controller feels very cheap. It’s thin plastic and it wiggles a lot, even with a phone in it. I pretty much play mobile exclusively, via steam link, or psplay, or stadia or xcloud. I use them all and I was excited to get this controller to replace the clip I was using with my dualsense controller. But going form a dual sense to this is a crazy drop in quality. There is a controller just like this from a different company that is significantly better built. Do not waste money on this. Also the wireless charging feature is a major gimmick. The power bank died within 20 minutes from a full charge. That plus the micro USB port, the poor quality and build of the controller, and the fact that the controller didn’t work at all on the same day it was unboxed should deter anyone away. There are obviously a lot of paid reviews on the product. Do not let them fool you. This one belongs in the trash pile and for 100 dollars power a should be ashamed for putting it on the market. Massive fail of a controller. If the raiju mobile had a bigger clip so I could use my fold 4 that is what I would go with. Bigger phones or small tablets should use the naccon mgà pro and normal sized phones should use the razer raiju mobile. Both are a million times better than this one.

Works perfect with Samsung Fold 4/5 with case on
After some (one year of) consideration, I decided to buy this Moga XP7-X for my Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and I am not disappointed.I wanted a controller that had the usb-c on the left because I didn’t want to have my phone hanging down; but sadly, everyone has decided to put it on the right side. There are a few that offer the port on the left side, but they don’t offer the full trigger motion or the extra buttons.I almost bought the gamesir x2 pro because of the extra buttons, the full motion triggers and well, it’s a lot cheaper; but it has the usb-c on the right side.I consider the MGX pro, but I know bluetooth can have some input lag, so the winner was this Moga.I have used Moga controllers since the first one that released like 10 years ago. They used to be more budget friendly and I do miss that, now they are charging a premium. The controller works great on my Fold 4, even with the case on which is not very slim, it’s a rugged UB without hinge protection, still very bulky and it fits perfectly.I tried BT and it works very well, almost no noticeable input lag, but it is there. Depending on the game I can feel it. Via USB all actions are instant. As with every Moga, what I don’t like (and no, I don’t mind the micro-usb, as a nerd I have lots of different cables) is that it does not have any rumble. Some emulators will make the phone vibrate, but some will not so anything even though the vibration is turned on in the settings. The battery lasts forever, although I have only used it for a day, my phone died and the controller was still 4 dots.I know some people give this controller bad reviews because you need to play wired on PC to use Xinput, to me that’s not a problem, I play wired anyday and I have another Moga for PC with the rumble for that. I don’t have an Xbox, so I cannot tell about how it works with that. I bought it for my Android and it works fantastic with all my emulators from Atari to Wii, even Switch, but that emulator needs a much more powerful phone, or a lot more optimization.I absolutely recommend this controller to anyone who wants to play on their Fold 4/5.

I Received a faulty piece, bottom buttons were not working and item I received looks very old(used already). I would never recommend to buy controllers from Amazon anymore.

à un controller perfetto, avrei preferito però che fosse stato possibile aprirlo fino agli 11 pollici per il tablet. Su smartphone è il migliore, e ne ho comprati 4 prima di fermarmi a questo e per ora sto bene con lui

I’ve been eyeing this controller for a long time now. I ordered it originally for my LG Q6. By the time I ordered it, I had upgraded to the LG V60 Thinq 5G dual screen. I was a little disappointed to discover that it was too wide by just a smidge to fit the phone clip that comes with this controller. It would be nice if the manufacturer updated the clip design in time to allow for thicker phones like this with case. It is not effective to be pulling the phone in and out of the case to use with the controller. Thankfully, mine sits up fine by itself. The controller itself is awesome. I love the weight and feel. The controls are comfortable, even for someone like myself that is not a native controller user. They respond very well. The controller battery pack is very impressive. It has yet to lose a dot on the battery charge level since it was initially charged. I imagine when using it to power your phone device, it would be a great asset. I use it mainly on bluetooth myself.Visually, the controller is stunning. The triggers and button are nice and quiet. It is very unlike controllers used by my friends. I can hear those over chat they are so noisy. The design is rugged too. I love how the phone clip also works as a stand for the device. And the cable that is included is very long and sturdy too. I had zero issues connecting it to my device and find it great so far.I bought it for playing Minecraft Bedrock and also for playing old arcade emulator games. I LOVE IT and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality and comfortable controller with all the necessary features!

Great gamepad. The button travel is good, the sticks have almost no dead zones. Works great with xCloud. Everything works fine on android devices and Windows PC.IMPORTANT!!!Doesn’t work well with macbook. Of course, you can connect it, but it will not work for xCloud. But, if you use steamlink on a macbook, then everything works fine.Great gamepad for Android and Windows devices.
