Designed for photographers who need performance without the bulk, the Peak Design Leash Camera Strap offers pro-level versatility in a compact, pocket-sized design. The Leash is our narrowest strap, and is ideally suited to smaller compact or mirrorless cameras. Configurable as a sling, shoulder strap, neck strap or safety tether, this camera leash adapts to any scenario. The dual aluminum and Hypalon quick-adjusters allow smooth, one-finger length adjustments from 33 to 57 inches, while the high-quality webbing glides over clothing for quick access and all-day wear. Equipped with our Anchor Link system, this Peak Design camera strap provides fast connections and disconnections while holding over 200lbs (90kg) – strong enough to keep the heaviest of pro rigs safe. Each Anchor features 2-layer anti-abrasion thermoplastic cords with wear indicators, so you’ll always know when it’s time for a swap. Compatible with all camera systems, as well as binoculars, rangefinders, tripods and more, it’s the only strap you’ll ever need.

The padding makes a world of difference
I bought this strap not knowing about the integrated padding in the strap. I put the strap on for the first time, and once I attached it to one of my cameras, I finally felt why Peak Design includes the padding. I was using a Slide Lite for years before this one because I was cheap and didn’t want to spend the extra $20, but I’m glad I splurged on this. My neck is leagues more comfortable, and I don’t end up with a line dug into the back of my neck after a long shoot.

Best strap on the market!
I would give the Peak straps 10 stars! I Iâve used this same strap with my canon r5 for the last three years with no issues at all. I just upgraded to the r5 mark ii and bought one again. The anchors and strap are super strong, itâs easy to maneuver from side sling to shooting mode, and smooth around my shoulder and neck. It holds my 100-500mm lens just about everyday use with no issues and my 200-800mm lens also. This is the one and only strap I would buy! I was so happy to see Peak straps on Amazon for overnight delivery. Highly recommend ****

Terrific.
$80 for a camera strap is really outrageous. For a kit camera that costs $500, $80 is 20% of the cost of the camera, for a strap. So, I didnât buy this strap to be trendy, I bought this strap because my other straps (pictured) are well over 20 years old. And thatâs not part time use, but daily, in a variety of conditions and neither of those straps failed me, but it was time for new ones. Enter Peak Designs. I love this strap. Thereâs one thing missing, my old straps had little pockets for memory cards which is awesome and if Peak Design worked that in, these straps would be perfect. I love the cross body ability and that has changed how I carry my gear. I use Nikon pro body cameras (z9,d5,d4 etc) with heavy glass. These carry the weight and distribute it awesome. Since purchasing, I bought a second one at my local camera shop, Iâve done several 10+ hour events and I can say these straps made a difference. I bought them being severely biased by the workhorses Iâve used for 20 years and my mind was changed. They are very high quality. The instant adjustable buckle is really convenient and easy. Love that. The quick connect discs are wicked cool too. Love those. The length, the cross body, the materials, the innovative clips attachments and buckles, super!! Only thing missing for me, is a pocket for memory cards and of course the downside of price. But I expect, these will last 20 years just like my old ones. 1 star off for price.

Sweet relief
I lug a Canon R7 with a Sigma 150-600 zoom lens on my birding outings, and I bought this strap to relieve the shoulder pain I’ve been having with the thin strap that came with the lens. Today, I gave the new strap its first true test — a 1-hour plus walk at a nearby park. The Slide worked great, shifting much of the weight of my gear to my chest, side and hip. Not once did I take the camera off and carry it by hand, as I routinely did every quarter mile or so for the last couple of years. I’m sold on the Slide.
These are very comfy but they do run big, I like my shirts loose and was able to go down a size and still have a loose fit. I first bought one in my size and I will say going down a size was a much better fit –
Game changer when it comes to your shoulders
I bought these because I carry a heavier camera, set up, and I have to say, this is a game changer. I no longer get the back aches and shoulder aches that I used to with my normal nikon strap, I use a nikon D850 and D500 with a 200 to 500 mm lens, and this balances the weight perfectly it lightens the load on your shoulders. It’s very versatile, and very easy to adjust quickly. It slides nicely from a hanging position to a shooting position. I was a bit nervous at first when I bought this because of the attachment to the camera itself looking like it may not support such a heavy setup, but it has not been a issue at all. I’m surprised at how well it works
