Pacquiao mentioned that although his recovery times have increased a bit, he has not experienced any decline in his physical fitness.
“I’m still quick, and I can move just like I used to. I can run in the mountains alongside the younger boxers, so I feel great,” he stated.
“I’m really enjoying this training camp. There are a few changes we’re making for recovery. We need to listen to my body and allow it the necessary time to rest and recuperate.”
Having claimed 12 world titles across eight different weight classes since starting his professional career in 1995, Pacquiao chose not to comment on whether his upcoming return next month would be a one-time event or the beginning of a more extensive comeback.
“It’s difficult to say,” he responded when asked about future matches. “Right now, I’m back, so let’s take it one fight at a time. After this fight, we can make further plans.”
