Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that they apprehended a suspected drunk driver who was allegedly speeding at 200 kilometers per hour on Highway 407 in Oakville, Ontario.
The OPP stated that the driver was stopped near Neyagawa Boulevard on Sunday morning.
Authorities claim he was driving at a velocity of 200 km/h and was over three times the legal blood alcohol limit.
When stopped, the driver told the officers, “I’m running late for work.”

A 25-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including impaired driving, dangerous driving, stunt driving, being a novice driver with alcohol levels above zero, and possession of alcohol in the vehicle.
The police reported that the driver’s vehicle will be impounded for two weeks, and his driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days.
The OPP shared a photo on social media showing four bottles of alcohol, including two Crown Royal bottles, along with an image of the stopped vehicle.
