Great buy, strong and sturdy
Surprisingly good. I’ve bought some of these gooseneck things in the past and they’ve never really been that sturdy over time. After reading some of the reviews for this product I decided I’d give this one a try and it’s really held up quite well and doesn’t give any impressions of weakening.I sleep with my desk right behind me so it was an easy clip on – they have a clamping mechanism similar to a wrench where you put in the expanded clamp and slowly close one of the sides till it’s locked in tight. Once that was clipped on then it felt solidly in place.I would say a couple tricky things at first is that there are ridges in the phone holder that are designed to support your phone. It’s easy at first to “miss” the correct placement and put your phone in front of the ridge, which will eventually make it fall out. So there’s a bit of a technique to placing your phone properly, but it’s not annoying to learn since the logic of having the ridges there just makes sense.Also, manipulating the gooseneck requires some technique as well. When I first put this on my desk, I tried to just grab the gooseneck from the end and drag it into position and that lateral pressure ended up just taking off the clamp from the desk and the whole holder falling down (albeit it stayed locked in the position I wanted it to be). So when manipulating the gooseneck, the trick is to manipulate the end with one hand and hold it into place with the other. Do that and it’ll work perfectly for you and hold your phone for hours – which is really a gamechanger for fellow nighttime phone users.All in all, I would comfortably buy this again, it’s been a great QoL boost.

I use this to hold my iPhone to record what I’m writing/drawing. It works so well. It clamps onto the phone and is easy to adjust the angle. The adjustable clamp works well on my tables. The tube is rather stiff but it’s good so it’s sturdy and doesn’t move when in use.

Makes life so much Easier
this is a favorite purchase of mine. I bought it because I was getting sick of holding my phone while recording videos for my tiktok, @pianoequalizer211. It streamlines my recording process as a newbie because it allowed me to have a mount that was flexible to film in a variety of angles and a variety of content types, from music to comedy. I especially enjoy using this with the iphone and the iwatch, because if you set up the mount at any distance from where you want to record, you can use the camera remote feature on the apple watch to start, stop, or pause your recordings and see a sample of what your camera sees. I use this at my desk and also mount it to my coffee table next to my recliner for my personal convenience. It is so flexible and holds tight. In fact, sometimes too tight because the arms are very durable and require more than a little strength to adjust. I do find it difficult to adjust it into position because of the high quality material the arms are made out of.

This is clever and works well! I had a tiny part of a bedside table to anchor this to and it did an amazing job of both being able to hold on as well as not falter when I put my mobile phone in it. It is bendy but note, it doesnât bend like a magic spoon trick! So be intentional with how you move it into position so youâre not trying to bend it while watching something on your phone (or whatever item you want clasped).
