Audio recordings from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial involving allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering include the rapper referring to his former girlfriend as a “crack pipe.”
Diddy sent the audio to his ex-girlfriend, who testified under the alias Jane, following a night together at a hotel. Jane alleged that after falling ill, she was compelled to engage in sexual acts with several male escorts.
“Hey, baby, we had a wonderful time; keep positive vibes. It’s all good, rest up,” Diddy is heard saying. “You’re the crack pipe. That’s my new nickname for you, crack pipe, or should it just be CP? But really, stay positive. You know what I mean? We had an incredibly fun night,” he continued.
“Now get some rest and take care of yourself,” he added. “You know your contract; find a nice place to relax. I had an amazing time, and I truly want you to recuperate. I wasn’t aware you were feeling sick until later. That’s when I thought, wait a minute. Okay, rest up, baby, love.”

The jury was shown photographic evidence of damage allegedly inflicted by Diddy at Jane’s residence.
Several images were submitted, depicting the damaged doors of the master bedroom, bathroom, and a guest room. Jane testified that Diddy kicked the doors “literally off the hinges” during a confrontation when she questioned him about another woman.
“I essentially assumed he was with another woman, which really angered me at that point in our relationship,” she explained in court. “I had been suppressing a lot of resentment and anger towards him.” During the confrontation, Jane referred to Diddy as a “pedophile,” citing the age difference with the other woman as troubling to her.
Jane described the argument escalating when she pushed Diddy’s head into a marble countertop and threw candles at him. She claimed not to have hit him with any glass. The rapper allegedly followed her into the master bedroom, bathroom, and closet before she tried to escape through the front door.

“Sean kicked me from behind my thigh, causing me to fall,” Jane testified. “Then he picked me up in a chokehold.” She recalled running six blocks from the house and waiting for about two hours before returning. Once she got back, the altercation with Diddy resumed. During the physical confrontation, Jane remembered Diddy hitting her twice. She fled to the backyard and lay in the grass with her arms covering her face and body. Diddy allegedly punched and kicked her “multiple times” in that position before dragging her back inside.
Throughout, she kept saying, “Leave me the f— alone. Just leave.” She added, “I kept expressing how much I hated him.”
Jane mentioned getting into the shower to clean up, at which point Diddy allegedly slapped her, making her lose her balance and fall.

Jane testified that Diddy desired one final “sobriety party” before starting rehab, which she had recommended. She said there were three entertainers at the gathering, and she refrained from using drugs. Jane claimed that although she agreed to the party, she felt resentment towards Diddy for knowing how much she loved him and that she couldn’t refuse him.
When questioned about the substances Diddy used at the “sobriety party,” Jane mentioned, “I believe it was ecstasy. And cocaine. I’m not sure.” She added that the party stretched “too long,” estimating it lasted “between 12 and 18 hours.”
Jane also told the jurors that she suggested rehab for Diddy after witnessing him excessively partying.

Cross-examination of Jane began on Tuesday, conducted by Diddy’s defense attorney, Teny Geragos. She questioned Jane about her relationship with Diddy and her involvement in the allegedly coerced “hotel nights.”
The interrogation escalated as Geragos probed Jane regarding the money spent on her and the gifts she received from Diddy.
Text messages from Jane to Diddy concerning the rapper purchasing handbags for another woman were presented in court. Geragos remarked that Jane had also received her own handbag.

“No, I only received trauma… after three and a half years; I don’t think I gained anything,” Jane responded in court. When Geragos inquired, “How much do Bottega bags cost?” Jane replied, “What is my body worth?” before requesting a recess. When court resumed, she apologized to Geragos.
