   Holy Stone HS360S Drone
   What an amazing drone full of great capturing tools. I’m new to drones and with myself doing backpacking hikes, it was vital for me to have a drone to capture the great elevated views. I had reviewed many options before my purchase to be sure I’m getting a good drone for the money and I was not disappointed.SETUP – very easy steps and the app walks you through them.TAKEOFF – Make sure you have space coz the drone does take a view seconds to adjust to a steady hover.FLY – very fast drone with three speeds. Holds well in the wind considering it doesn’t have a gimbal. No issues with height or distance and with one touch RTH, the drone easily came back and landed as expected.BATTERY – Battery life could be better but all drones seem to have same issue. Get about 17mins to a battery flight time. If you have multiple batteries (I do not yet) then you be good with more flying time.CHARGING – Battery charges very quickly and I would say it was back to full charge after around 42minsOverall, this drone is excellent for all newbies looking for quality flight and capture modes.

   Great Drone , Easy to fly
   This Is a great drone for a beginner or an advanced pilot. There are so many great features included. The setup and preflight are easy and once the app is started the wizard steps you through the process. There are also built in tutorials and a nice quickstsrt guide and paper manual. Once I had ran the initial calibration take off was simple. The flight controls were smooth and responsive. By default the flight controls are in beginner mode with distance limitations. Once you are comfortable with the controls the beginner settings can be disabled or adjusted. There are 3 control speed settings to adjust how fast or slow the drone moves in flight. If you’re new to drones gps is a game changer. GPS allows the drone to be stable and easily controllable not to mention you can track it if you lose it. The drone also has the ability to return to home and land with the press of the button, low battery, or if the signal is lost to the controller. One of my first flights it got alittle windy and the drone was compensating enough to keep its position and the app report a wind advisory and to fly with caution or land to avoid losing control of the drone. I had never seen any drone have that type of notification. Lastly the camera has great quality not to mention the ability to remotely adjust it up or down. I would highly recommend this drone to anyone looking for an easy to fly, feature filled compact drone.

   Great drone for the money
   This was my first drone so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, that being said my only complaints are very minor. The instructions in the quick-start guide are mostly useless. Fortunately it also comes with a full users manual, trust me, go with that! Once you download the app and get it set up, follow the directions in the booklet and you will be flying in no time. So far I have enjoyed it and taken some nice pictures and videos. Have not really pushed how far I can get the drone away from the controller yet, but so far the range has been enough for my comfort level. I tried the return home button, it works, brought the unit back to about 2 or 3 feet from the launch spot. The camera is ok but not great, about the same as an older flip phone camera or a cheap digital unit from a few years ago. The picture I included was taken on my second flight, from about 100 ft or so according to the altimeter on the display (not sure how accurate that is yet) video quality is ok, don’t bother turning the microphone on, just the sound of rotors and wind. Happy with my purchase so far, haven’t lost or crashed it yet, but the day is early!! Charging the controller takes a few hours but lasts several flights. Charging the drone battery takes several hours and lasts around 20 min’s or so of flight depending on how active you are on the controls. I live in south Florida, so it’s always breezy here, seems pretty stable in flight with a mild wind, have not flown in heavy winds yet. The unit comes set in beginner mode (a good thing I think) that limits altitude to about 100 feet or so. Once you turn that off, you can set it to whatever you are comfortable with (within reason) and I have had mine up to 200 ft (according to the device) and had no issues controlling it or flying it, but the wind at that level that day made it hard to keep stable. More fun than I expected, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Going to be a useful tool after hurricanes to inspect my roof, since I am an old fat guy and not really wanting to shimmy my fat butt up a ladder! Happy flying!

   Could not ask for a better drone
   I am a beginner with drones (I mainly fly RC aircraft), but I find this drone amazing. It takes about 1 minute to set up (insert the battery, connect the phone, and sync the GPS), with the GPS sync taking about half that time. From then on, it’s pure fun and enjoyment!The drone is very smooth to fly and is very stable. Fly it to a spot, hover, and it will stay there, even in a fair amount of breeze. I also like the fact that it has an adjustable ‘Fence’ that you can set. For example, if you are teaching someone to fly, you can limit the drone to 100’ from the remote, and the drone will stay in that zone. I also appreciate that it comes back to the landing zone when the battery is low, if communication is lost, or upon the press of a button. I have not yet been able to use its 10,000 feet range (that’s almost 2 miles) to keep it in my sight, but it has always maintained a very solid connection to the remote for control and for the video.I’ve read many things about the camera; however, I find that it takes beautiful pictures and great video. Yes, it’s not the high-quality video that you can use for promotional ads, but this is not a $10,000 drone. When you combine all the other features that come with the HS360S, this drone is a great value, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves to fly.
