A 45-year-old Egyptian man, suspected of injuring 12 individuals in a firebombing incident during a pro-Israel rally in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday, previously worked in healthcare and as a rideshare driver.
Mohamed Sabry Soliman arrived in the U.S. on a temporary visa in August 2022. After that visa expired in February 2023, he continued to live in the country. The following month, he obtained a work visa that was valid until March of this year.
According to Fox News Digital, Soliman was employed in the accounting department of a medical firm named Veros Health, located in Centennial, a suburb of Denver, for a short period early in his legal work stay.

“We can confirm that Mohamed Soliman was employed at Veros from May 2023 to August 2023,” stated a spokesperson from the company. “He joined our accounting team and completed the hiring process through ADP, our Professional Employer Organization. At the time of hiring, he had a valid work visa that was set to expire in March 2025.”
This year, Soliman also took up work as a rideshare driver, but his lawful work visa expired in March, rendering him an illegal immigrant at the time of the attack.
A neighbor informed Fox News Digital that Soliman worked for Uber and was frequently absent from home due to his busy work schedule.
Soliman started driving for Uber in spring 2023, according to the company.

Uber also mentioned that all drivers must meet several eligibility criteria, including undergoing a background check for criminal and driving history, providing a photo ID, and possessing a valid Social Security number. Soliman complied with these requirements as per Colorado state law, Uber stated.
According to Uber, he did not receive any concerning feedback during his time as a driver. The company has since suspended his driver’s account and reported to law enforcement.
He is accused of using improvised incendiary devices, like a flamethrower and Molotov cocktails, in a bid to attack pro-Israel demonstrators on Sunday.
A group known as “Run for Their Lives” had gathered at the Pearl Street Mall to highlight the plight of Israeli hostages trapped by Hamas in Gaza when they were brutally attacked.
