Zach Edey, the center for the Memphis Grizzlies, was reportedly pulled over in Indiana for speeding earlier this month in a 55-mph zone.
The 7-foot-4 player faces charges of reckless driving and is scheduled to appear in court in Tippecanoe County next week, as per online records.
Edey was recorded traveling at approximately 101 mph on Indiana Route 25 on May 1, according to the Journal & Courier, which cited a police report.

He recently had ankle surgery, which may cause him to miss the beginning of the 2025-26 season. Edey needed the surgery to repair and stabilize his ankle after re-injuring it during offseason training last week.
The Grizzlies announced that the 7-foot-4 Canadian will be reassessed in four months, just under two weeks before the opening of the 2025-26 season on October 21.
Previously, Edey missed 12 games early in the season due to a sprained left ankle but went on to participate in 66 games, starting in 55 of them.
