Troubleshooting for failure to flash: 1. When using the flash for the first time, wait for the flash recycle indicator to turn green, it means recycle complete. If it the indicator remains red or white, please replace the battery with a new one or a fully charged one. 2. Direct light is better than NO light, works with Instax mini 90
Sometimes I just want to go out with a small camera bag with my mirrorless camera (phone and other essential items) without a full size flash; although I donât like on camera direct light, but it is better than NO light.It works with my Instax Mini 90, itâs more powerful than the built-in flash. Good for the price
I use this flash for my Sony zv1 camera . Itâs good for the price , and can be difficult to use and you have to continue playing with settings to get it how you want it . Also this is battery operated & it dies FAST !! so be sure to pack extra batteries if your taking on vacation. Other than that it gets the job done !

Great for more than beginners!
I’m a working professional photographer with an events company & a portrait studio – this thing is a beast! Super easy to use, I recommend just dialing it down to its lowest power setting on manual (I honestly wish it went one stop lower in power, if I had to make a criticism that would be it) and dial your camera settings in how you like. Using this on a Sony a7iv with a 35 1.4 lens for events is literally so easy to take great candids & posed shots of people, things, & venue. Can’t recommend enough! Another bonus thats underrated af is the fact that it doesn’t cause that weird flash line when shooting vertically like EVERY professional speed light does when pointing it directly at people. For the price, cant beat this thing.

Frustrating to work with
I want to start this off by saying that the final result that this flash gives is great, but other than that it is so frustrating to work with. I initially bought one and after a few photos this weird line was popping up in my pictures, i thought maybe i was in the wrong and changed my settings, nope still there. Then i returned it and thought maybe it was just the flash, the new one I received was somehow worse than the first, i put in old batteries that worked, it was red then flashing red and turned off, no worries, i thought maybe i need new batteries, went to get new ones and it was giving me the same exact results. I look online, look for videos, something to help since the manual doesnât say anything about it flashing red. maybe itâs just me and iâm not so fond of how camera/flashes work but this was the most frustrating thing to work with. I hope this doesnât happen to others and was just something that occurred to me but please be cautious of this product.

Je ne comprenais pas pourquoi mes photos étaient coupées en deux avec cette bande noire. Après pas mal de recherche (et peu de réponses sur internet) jâai compris quâil sâagissait de la vitesse dâobturation qui était trop élevée (et donc le flash pas aussi rapide que lâappareil photo). Il faut le savoir et il nây a aucune aide sur les paramètres à faire. Sinon il fait le job jusquâà 3-4 mètres câest plutôt pas mal ! Je recommande pour les photographes débutants bien quâil soit difficile à prendre en main si les régalages de lâappareil photo ne correspondent pas dès lâinstallation du flash.
