Tarek El Moussa was reportedly involved in a physical altercation in Las Vegas, resulting in a citation for battery.
Fox News Digital has confirmed that the 43-year-old reality star was not arrested but received a citation from the authorities following the incident. He allegedly intervened to protect his elderly father.
“On June 5, 2025, officers responded to a battery incident in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard,” the Las Vegas Metro Police Department stated to Fox News Digital.

El Moussa has not publicly commented on the situation, but his wife, Heather El Moussa, shared their Las Vegas trip on social media.

“Not your typical Vegas trip… Watched Tarek perform on stage (so proud!) and made it extra special by taking our parents along,” she posted on Instagram along with a video summary.

El Moussa was previously married to Christina Haack, 41, for seven years until their divorce was finalized in 2018. They co-parent two children and star together in a new HGTV series, “The Flip Off.”
El Moussa and Heather got married in 2021.

“Staring death in the face makes you truly reflect on what life is about and what you should appreciate.”

For El Moussa, the most daunting aspect was not just the cancer but the concern of not being present for his family, especially his infant daughter.
“The most frightening thing for me was not knowing if I would survive, as I was young with a family and a daughter, Taylor. The scariest thought was not being around to raise my little girl.”

In 2013, Tarek was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which was discovered after a fan noticed a lump on his neck during one of his shows and advised him to seek medical attention. Shortly after, he was also diagnosed with testicular cancer.
The “Flip or Flop” star announced he was cancer-free in 2019.
