Perfect Field Monitor for my Content Creation Setup!
I recently added the Feelworld S55 V3 to my content creation gear, and I couldnât be happier! This monitor is compact, lightweight, and easy to mount, making it ideal for both indoor shoots and on-the-go filming. The 5.5-inch 1080p display is sharp, with vibrant colors and enough brightness (500 nits) to handle most lighting conditions.Setup was a breeze, just plug it into your camera via HDMI, and youâre ready to go! I especially love the customizable function buttons, which let me quickly toggle focus peaking and false colors, saving me so much time during shoots. The monitor also supports 4K HDMI input/output, which is impressive at this price point. Bonus points for the headphone jack, letting me monitor audio without extra gear.If youâre looking for an affordable, reliable field monitor, the S55 V3 is a no-brainer. Itâs been a game-changer for framing shots and getting the perfect focus. Highly recommend!

Love This!!! Waveforms and false color make exposure so easy.
This is my first external monitor, but I absolutely love it. I shoot personal YouTube videos as well as talking head interviews for clients. The size of this makes it much easier for me to see myself when I’m 5 or 6 ft away from my own camera, but it also lets me view a remote camera via a long HDMI cable. Which is awesome when I’m shooting with multiple cameras and can’t be standing by both of them at the same time .I love the waveforms, and especially the false color, which is a game changer for my video production. The menus are a little clunky via the up-down left right buttons, but I programmed the three programmable buttons to do the things that I want them to do. So once I got it set up, it’s no problem .The included battery is nice, but I can also power it from a USB Cable which is a great way to make sure it doesn’t drop out because when it does drop out, it also stops the camera from recording. Will probably get a couple of these for my other cameras too. I find them so useful.UPDATE – less than 24 hours after leaving this review, all of a sudden the monitor won’t turn on anymore. So whilst I still love the monitor, and I think it’s features are awesome. I’m now waiting to see what the customer service and replacement service of this company is like.I’ll keep you updated. Electronics do fail from time to time, so I’m holding judgment just yet.

BEST Budget Camera Monitor!
The FEELWORLD S55 is by far the BEST Budget camera monitor to date! The Camera monitor Is crisp, nice colors, resolution is amazing!Comes with the hardshell caseCamera monitorL bracketFull size HDMI – Micro HDMI cableType C – USB adapterVelcro Sun Hoodand the s550 batteryThe battery itself is a key seller!Really powerful battery with an LED indicator to tell how charged it is, and charged via type cOnly issue I find with this monitor is when flipping the monitor around to see yourself in front of the camera, to flip the image you have to go into settings and hit image flip, Which in doing so flips EVERYTHING (Including the menu) so it is a struggle to change back. However that is a very easy fix with a software update!Overall, minus the slight issue with the softwear, this might be the PERFECT budget friendly camera monitor!

Battery life SUCKS.
Battery life is terrible and it’s hard to see in the sun even with the shade that’s provided.

Feelworld Gives You a Lot of Great Video Tools
My first field monitor was an Atomos Ninja V at nearly 5x the price. For 2 reasons I can think of… build quality and because it’s also a recorder. If all you need is a monitor, this is totally worth every penny. The amount of video tools you get (waveforms, vector scope, anamorphic desqeeze, etc.) make this an invaluable asset that every film maker should have.I use a Panasonic Lumix, which also has many of these tools, but on a small camera screen it just makes things difficult to see. This monitor changes the game in dialing in your focus, framing, coloring, etc. That’s right… you can upload your own LUTs into this thing! If you know ahead of time what look you are going for, this can change the way you might set the temperature and lighting otherwise. As mentioned earlier, this isn’t nearly as robust as something like the Atomos Ninja, but it offers a plethora of professional tools that will help up your game. I am not a fan of the mounting arm, but that can easily be swapped out for something else if you don’t like it either. I can see why some people do though as it allows you to add a microphone without the need for a camera cage.

It gives you like 2-3secs delay to see the photo you have taken.

It works when it wants to, when I first bought it it was amazing and delivered great results consistently but have ran into multitudes of errors in the last couple months. It seems to only work if I position the HDMI cable a certain way? Would recommend spending more on a reputable brand. I brought this for a freelance project the other day and it just would not work and had to use my on camera monitor, very disappointed.
