Title: Simply Excellent.
Review: Easy to reference. Easy to read and understand even the most complex / head scratching building issues encountered in the past 50yrs of home construction evolution. What works. What doesn’t. And what is currently still developing. So wish I’d had this 10yrs ago (grin), but so appreciative to have for the next project evaluation & implementation.

Title: Insightful thorough guide for building and renovating from a master
Review: For several years I have faithfully read his columns. To have this “bible” of thoughtful information at hand is a wonderful regular reference. And not just for me but for friends who are contemplating their own building and renovations.

Title: Great Info
Review: Really learned a lot from this book. It’s more of a collection of articles than a cohesive, flowing book. Some stuff repeated.

Title: Very pleased to have this book
Review: This has a lot of insight brought together into one place. I’m very happy with the book. I do wish, however, that it had a section on Southern California stucco houses.

The author includes explanations, where appropriate, of the physical science behind the recommendations and methods involved.Excellent articles on many important, and often misunderstood, topics regarding Building Science. This book should be required reading for anyone building, or renovating a home!
