The Edmonton Oilers leveled the Stanley Cup Finals at two games each with an incredible overtime comeback, defeating the Florida Panthers 5-4 in Sunrise on Thursday. The game drew a star-studded crowd, including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Leon Draisaitl of Edmonton scored the decisive goal in overtime, completing a thrilling match. This marked his fourth overtime goal of the playoffs, setting a new NHL record for the most in a single postseason. He had also scored the overtime winner in Game 1.

The Oilers made a remarkable comeback from an early three-goal deficit in what has been the most thrilling game of the series to date.
The Panthers surged to a 3-0 lead in the first period, with Matthew Tkachuk scoring twice and Anton Lundell adding one.
However, Edmonton rallied quickly, netting three goals in the second period from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Vasily Podkolzin, and Darnell Nurse to tie the game.

The match then saw a deadlock, with both teams unable to score as they moved into the third period. This stalemate continued until Oilers defenseman Jake Walman finally broke through with a goal less than seven minutes remaining in regulation.
In a dramatic twist, with under 20 seconds left, Sam Reinhart of the Panthers scored to level the match, pushing the game into overtime.
Neither team was able to score in the first 11 minutes of the extra period, but at the 8:42 mark, Draisaitl found the net to clinch the win and even the series.

The series will head back to Edmonton for Game 5 on Saturday.
