The holiday season often sees a slowdown in my work during December and January. Many people may be unaware that this is actually a great time to capture stunning winter wildlife in the Scottish Highlands.
I understand why some may hesitate, thinking, “The days are so short; why pay full price for only a few hours of light?” I completely get that perspective.
To address this, I am offering reduced rates for workshops in the Scottish Highlands during December and January as follows:
- £200 for individual sessions
- £300 for pairs
Please note, these discounts do not apply to workshops on Mull.
Though the days are shorter, the winter conditions can enhance the experience (like the week of snowfall we had in January 2025). The wildlife locations are less crowded, minimizing disturbances, and the animals behave similarly to how they do in February, which tends to be a busier month for visitors.
