Be prepared to read!
Great camera but requires a big learning curve. It’s ok if you don’t mind using the Auto setting until you learn the camera. The manual is 916 pages and is not included with the camera. That was not a typo. The manual is 916 pages. However, like the majority of Canon cameras, it takes great pictures. This is my 5th Canon camera. I previously owned Ricoh’s, Minolta’s, Polaroids and Pentax. I will admit, I am partial to Canon.I am not sure there is a simpler mirrorless APS-C camera out there, there probably is but Canon’s RF mount lenses are terrific.

Love it
Disclaimer: Iâm new to photography. This camera is easy to use, light weight. I love the two lenses that it comes with.Seems like the lenses should cover most of the images I want. The connection to the phone is great. Iâve been using it for family pictures. Hoping to get additional lens for wildlife and landscape

Perfect for what I need it for
I love this camera. It does exactly what I need it to do. The only thing I do need to do is get another lense that zooms in further than the original lens them come with. Other than that, the size of the camera is perfect. Itâs not too big or too small. Quality for the price is great. I did have to order another battery because I donât feel like the battery lasts as long as it should. Other wise, easy to use.

Great for photos, not good for video
Photos are great, auto focus too. Video is great if you are doing vlogging sitting in front of the camera, but if you go somewhere with the camera (walking) or especially running that’s where the camera is going to be awful. I returned it just because I bought it exactly for walking videos, some active video shooting. I had a stabilization in the lens and even combined with digital one in camera body, it sucks. Very shaky, impossible to watch… And 30fps video is going to be so ugly if you are shaking camera, objects are going to look like they are changing the shape. It fixes if you use 60fps though. So, overall the camera is great if you are not going to use it for shooting videos in action (exactly when you move with the camera).P.S. I was checking the same on Canon R5C, was thinking to get it to fix the issue, but if you watch reviews on YouTube even about R5C video stabilization, it is prettyuch the same. You would need some very good grip and have to be very smooth in your movements, with is sucks considering the price. For instance my Samsung s23 Ultra has way better stabilization. GoPro has way better stabilization. Even my ex Samsung s21 had better one. What is the issues for Canon to get it to the same level, especially considering the size of the device… From 0 to 10 I would say it is 3 out of 10 for Canon. 8 for Samsung s23, 9 for GoPro. Really huge difference. Canon, pleeeeease fix it in future cameras. Would really love to see something like R10 and R5C but with the stabilization livel of Samsung or GoPro.

I bought this to replace a Canon Mark 5.
I came back from an overseas trip with my old gear and decided it is time to buy something lighter to carry around. I carried a L-class lenses I sold my old kit to an online retailer and took the proceeds to buy this R10 kit. It is light weight and takes great pictures. However, the kit Lense was not satisfactory for taking family pictures in low light. I ended up buying another Sigma lens and I am now happy with it. The sigma lense added wight and I needed to buy an adapter – if you want to be able to take low light pictures then you need faster glass which will be heaver.Controls are easy to use and II love being able to take pictures of myself using the app – a nice feature when you want to take a family picture. In hindsight, I should have waited to sell my L-class lenses until I received the camera as I might have kept my favorite lens,Note, I am not a professional photographer.

Great camera
The Canon EOS R10 is an exceptional camera that delivers professional-quality results in a compact and lightweight design. The image quality is stunning, with vibrant colors and sharp details, thanks to its impressive 24.2MP sensor and advanced DIGIC X processor. The autofocus system is a game-changer, with fast and accurate subject tracking, making it perfect for action shots, wildlife, or any fast-moving subjects. The cameraâs versatility is another big plus. It performs equally well for stills and video, offering 4K recording with minimal crop and smooth slow-motion options. The built-in features like creative filters and shooting modes make it easy to experiment and get creative, even for beginners. The ergonomic design and intuitive touchscreen interface make it a pleasure to use, and the electronic viewfinder is clear and responsive. The R10âs lightweight body makes it great for travel and outdoor photography, but it doesnât compromise on durability or build quality. The battery life is decent, and the connectivity options, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, make transferring files and remote shooting incredibly convenient.Overall, the Canon EOS R10 is an excellent choice for photographers of all levels, offering high-end features at a reasonable price point. Whether youâre a hobbyist or looking to step up your photography game, this camera wonât disappoint.

Itâs my first mirrorless camera and I was so excited to use it. Previously I was using Nikon D5300 which being a very old camera struggled with a lot of things like the autofocus or the 1080p resolution. This camera is really amazing with a terrific autofocus, amazing 4k video quality and easy to use menu system. Itâs also compact when compared to my old DSLR and takes a lot less space. Now the kit lens is not that good when it comes to low light video but it can do the job if you donât plan to spend any extra money but I got the 16 and the 50mm RF lenses and they work really well. I got a couple of manual focus lenses from TTArtisan as well and they work flawlessly. I was also looking at Sony and Fujifilm cameras before purchasing this but after reading a lot of reviews, watching tons of YouTube videos, finally got the R10 and couldnât be happier. Itâs an awesome camera and a true value for money! And not to forget the 10-bit videos this camera can shoot, I believe only a few mirrorless cameras can do it in this price range.

This R10 has been one of my favorites. It’s fast and simple. Use the fastest card. Still thinking Rebel T7… as this R10 was the first mirror-less I bought to replace the T7s. It’s handling some bigger zooms quite well but with no IBS the lens should have the “S”. unless everything is supported/stabilized. The price is a deal.Paired with SigmaEFs or CanonLs, no complaints. I’m Having Fun!
