   Very affordable, easy to use.
   I thought this device would be appropriate for use with a smartphone affixed to a spotting scope mounted on a tripod for bird photography. It did exactly what I expected. When used, this device eliminates all of the jitters that could occur if done manually, no matter how gentle the touch. On my Android smartphone I could make use of a voice activated shutter release if I desired. Speaking loud enough to the device for a pic could also frighten off wildlife that I or someone else might be trying to get imagery of. I am quite satisfied with its performance. It has given me the ability to obtain some fantastic still and video images of my local hummingbirds.It was a no brainer getting the thing up and running almost immediately. I didn’t have any issues with the size of the unit or the size of its buttons. When used, the different sized button for the different type of device formats seems to be totally logical. You don’t have to look at the thing to use it. It’s a two button gizmo, you use one button or the other. I did notice however that the Os button would zoom in when being used with my Samsung/Android smartphone. I checked it out with Iphone 6,7 and it worked just fine. I did not check to see if the android button would zoom the Iphone camera though. I also checked it with A galaxy 8 and a LG running on android a few or more levels above what my Samsung is operating with. I am using the CamKix blue tooth shutter release on a Samsung Rugby Pro which is operating with Android 4.1.2. I know it’s only supposed to work from 4.2.2 and higher or so it was thought. I’m glad that I lucked out in that regard. Once again I am more than satisfied with this product. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to improve their smartphone/bluetooth camera photography.I tried to put this review on CamKix’s website nothing doing. I guess that’s why there’s only two reviews on their sight too. To bad for CamKix.

   Simple to set up, use and it works very well
   To be honest, I did not intend to buy this remote control, I never thought I would need or want one and actually, I did not even know they existed. I was buying a tripod and this was a suggested add-on by Amazon.Since it was so inexpensive and since I am intrigued by technology, I bought it with the thought that if I did not like it, I would give it to one of my kids. My kids take selfies, I do not but, on the occasions where I have taken “selfies”, they were more “groupies”. When I hike with friends, I’ll sometimes take a group shot which necessitates my setting up the phone camera, turning on the selfie timer, and jumping back into the picture. One issue is that if the phone is far away to get the whole group into the shot, I cannot see the timer countdown. This remote eliminates the need for the timer.I opened the package, turned the remote on with the slide switch on its side, and opened the BlueTooth settings on my Samsung Galaxy 9 phone. The remote showed up waiting to be paired, I clicked “pair”, and that was all that was required to set it up.I opened the camera app on my phone, placed it about 8 feet away, looked towards the lens, smiled, pressed the button on the remote, and there I was in all my selfie glory in my photo gallery.So easy to set up, so easy to use and it’s a convenience I never even thought of having. For the price, you can’t afford to not have one of these in your toolbox.

   Great for multiple shots! Works as described
   Was easy to set up with my phone via Bluetooth and works just as described! I like having this for setting my phone up for photos to take multiples without a timer. It is compact and easy to carry around with you on a trip! My only issue is when it’s connected via Bluetooth my iPhone keyboard doesn’t show up when trying to type in apps like safari so I have to disconnect Bluetooth to be able to type.

   I just found out that my new S25 Ultra no longer supports the Bluetooth S Pen feature as a remote for taking photo’s.☹️Very disappointed with Samsung & would have kept my S24 Ultra if I had known that. 👎👎Then I saw this CANKIX assessorie on Amazon & ordered it. It works great & very pleased with how easy it was to set up & use. It’s a must have & will work even better than using the S Pen for that same purpose.Highly Recommended & Great Price! 👍👍

   — LA CONFEZIONE –Il telecomando arriva in un’ottima confezione, un sacchetto di plastica resistente, a chiusura ermetica, che contiene:- Il telecomando;- le istruzioni (solo in inglese, ma il funzionamento è così immediato da non richiedere neanche la lettura del pieghevole);- un cartoncino con un codice QR per partecipare al vip program dell’azienda. Staccando la parte centrale del cartoncino, inoltre, si ottiene una cornice per inquadrare soggetti e scattare foto in stile polaroid. Un’idea carina quanto scarsamente utilizzabile (anche perchè la cornice presenta scritte su 2 dei 4 lati);- un comodo laccetto da polso a cui agganciare il dispositivo– FUNZIONAMENTO –Il telecomando si alimenta con una pila a bottone (inclusa e già installata nel dispositivo). Per procedere all’utilizzo occorre:1) accendere il telecomando dall’apposito tasto ON/OFF. Un led blu si accenderà per confermare l’accensione e iniziare il pairing con il telefono;2) Dopo aver attivato il bluetooth sul dispositivo da accoppiare, il telecomando dovrebbe apparire nella lista dei dispositivi disponibili (“AB Shutter”);3) Si può quindi lanciare l’applicazione della fotocamera, sia essa quella nativa del telefono o un’altra (nelle istruzioni viene consigliata “Camera 360”, che probabilmente rende disponibili altre funzioni, ma mi sono accontentato dell’app standard del mio smartphone.)4) Si preme il pulsante dedicato (Android o iOS in base al telefono) e si scatta.– COMPATIBILITA’–Le istruzioni dichiarano compatibilità con dispositivi android a partire dalla versione 4.2.2, e con iOS in versione almeno 6.0. Ho provato il telecomando su entrambe le piattaforme ed è risultato perfettamente compatibile sia con iOS10 che Android 8.0. Sul retro delle istruzioni si fa comunque riferimento a un’ampia gamma di dispositivi, dall’ iPhone 5 fino all’ iPod Touch di 4a generazione o alcuni terminali Xiaomi, Sony e HTC. Ma immagino che l’unico requisito sia la versione del sistema operativo.Per questo motivo, il telecomando NON dovrebbe essere compatibile con le Action Camera, Smartwatch, o altre fotocamere che non siano basati su uno di questi due sistemi operativi.– CONSIDERAZIONI FINALI –E’ un’ottimo telecomando, riconosciuto immediatamente da diversi dispositivi. E’ inoltre molto piccolo e comodo da portare in giro, e lo scatto avviene in maniera istantanea senza particolari lag dalla pressione del tasto. Questi sono invece alcuni difetti e dubbi, che sono assolutamente soggettivi :- Il telecomando sembra non supportare lo scatto continuo: tenendo premuto il pulsante, lo smartphone non scatta foto in sequenza. Occorre quindi cliccare ogni volta.- un pulsante è molto più grande dell’altro, e dato che ognuno di essi corrisponde a un sistema operativo, scattare con quello più piccolo può non essere il massimo in termini di ergonomia;- alcune volte i pulsanti funzionano entrambi sullo stesso dispositivo. Su android, ad esempio, si può scattare con l’app fotocamera di default anche cliccando il pulsante “iOS”. La scritta “Camera 360” lascia forse intuire che usando l’app dedicata le funzioni cambiano.- la compatibilità sarà garantita anche in seguito a futuri aggiornamenti dello smartphone?- l’alimentazione a pile è ovviamente la cosa che meno mi è piaciuta. Certo, il dispositivo si può spegnere completamente e richiede un’energia quasi insignificante durante l’utilizzo, ma una piccola batteria interna con ricarica usb lo avrebbe reso davvero perfetto.Tuttavia, alla luce della qualità e dell’immediatezza di funzionamento, e soprattutto considerato il prezzo bassissimo, mi sento tranquillamente di dare a questo telecomando il punteggio massimo. Davvero ottimo.

   Utilisation vraiment très simple. Pas besoin de mode d’emploi. On met en route et le périphérique arrive sur le portable. Après juste un appui sur le bouton et voila la photo est prise.Un appui long et on déclenche une vidéo tant qu’on reste appuié.Très pratique.
