Works Very Well for Macro Photography
Iâve been using this remote trigger for macro photography and itâs a game changer for me. I place my camera on a focusing rail, get it where I want it, and then use the remote trigger so micro-vibrations donât ruin my shot. Itâs perfect. When I first got the trigger, I couldnât get it to communicate. The problem was the receiver and transmitter were on different channels and I didnât realize it. There are four little switches on each piece. One piece had all the switches set to âoffâ and the other had all the switches set to âonâ. Before I realized the switches were the issue, I went and bought more batteries thinking that was the issue. Once I realized the batteries were fine, I then investigated further and figured it out. This is the way it came from the manufacturer, so I wanted to include this information in case anyone else has this issue. Just check your switches. One thing thatâs nice is you can use just the receiver as a corded remote trigger if you want. However, the transmitter is great and I can see other scenarios where it will be handy. If thereâs one âwish listâ item, I wish the set came with rechargeable batteries rather than having to supply batteries.

This is an easy to use remote shutter release and is a must for any photgrapher
Wasnât sure what to expect with this remote, but it ended up being a great little addition to my camera gear. Setup was quick just pop in the batteries, pair it up, and itâs good to go. Works seamlessly with my Canon, and the response time is super fast. No annoying delays or missed shots, which is exactly what I needed. The build quality is solid for the price. Itâs lightweight but doesnât feel flimsy, and the buttons have a nice, tactile feel. Range is impressive too I tested it from across the room and even through a wall, and it still triggered the shutter without a hitch. What I really love is how it makes long exposures and group shots so much easier. No more running back and forth with a timer or worrying about camera shake when pressing the shutter. Just click the button, and thatâs it.If youâre looking for a reliable wireless remote that wonât break the bank, this is a solid choice. Works as advertised, easy to use, and makes shooting way more convenient.
