THE QUIET, ORANGE, JAPANESE MIRACLE THAT PROTECTS YOUR GLASS EYE. MADE IN NIPPON.
THE QUIET, ORANGE, JAPANESE MIRACLE THAT PROTECTS YOUR GLASS EYEThis is not a joke. This is not a novelty. This is not some slipshod neoprene throwaway from a warehouse in a place thatâs forgotten how to care. Thisâthis knit, this square, this warming second skin for your lensâis a thing made in Japan. And it feels made in Japan. Do you know what that means anymore? Because we forget. We forget in the haze of mass-production and algorithm-chosen add-ons and that dead-feeling packaging tape from the boxes that arrive too fast, too easily. But this? This lens coverâPacking Knit Camera Lens Cover, Square W, S size, Orangeâwas made in Japan with precision, and with a kind of serene, quiet intentionality that you can only describe as the Japanese way. Which is to say: no seam is careless. No thread floats without purpose. It is soft, yes, but its softness has discipline. The way a tea ceremony is soft. The way moss overtakes stone but never rushes. You pick it up and feel it: the texture of care. The tension of a hundred perfect loops. You donât just protect your lens with this thingâyou honor it. You wrap your cameraâs fragile, unblinking eye in the craftwork of people who believe even the smallest objects deserve beauty and functionality in equal measure. The orange is not frivolous. It is considered. Itâs the orange of a sunset seen through rice paper, of persimmons on a lacquered plate. Not neon. Not loud. But present. And the sizeâS, for smallâagain, not by accident. This is not a catch-all. It is not meant for âmost lenses.â It is meant for yours. Yours, specifically. Thatâs the Japanese way, too: to make something not for everyone, but for someone. And it is Square W. We donât know why. But we donât need to know. We accept the mystery, because the product itself is the answer. So you slip it over your lens. And for a moment, a quiet moment, the world feels less likely to harm the things you love. This square of woven Japanese care says: I will hold this for you. I will guard this small, glass truth. And you believe it.

Gives me light protection on the go for my Sony A7 with a small lens attached.
This protective pouch arrived with a better quality than I expected! It’s well-made and well put-together. I got the black Square W for my Sony mirrorless camera with a 35mm Sony lens attached, and it fit just fine. The material is stretchy and yarn-like, kind of similar to a sweater, but it’s much more durable and forgiving than yarn. I do wish the material was slightly thicker and softer for better protection, but I’m impressed that the material does not give off any lint, which is a huge deal for me, so great job on that.My camera does have a few small pointy parts and after putting the pouch on, these parts did poke through the material, so I didn’t like that, as I worry that the material could start wear and tear over time. For this reason, I do question its longevity, but I guess only time will tell if the material can stand up to that. Besides that, the pouch works as promised and I do like how it protects my camera and lens from scratches and light bumps. I dislike having bulky carrying cases on the go, so this little protective “sock” is perfect for my needs.

This is a great, innovative cover for the camera
I never knew I needed this until I put it on the camera. I am a professional news editor and photographer so my camera gets pretty bashed up. I’m resigned to that, although I’ve often wished I had something to protect my camera and lens which is very expensive, while I’m in dirty or compromised environments. I like to keep the kit light though, so I’m not carrying arouund so much and this is perfect for the task. I have a large “normal” zoom that is quite large at 28-70mm f/2. And a Canon R5 with 1/2 cage on it. This “L” size knit camera cover just stretches enough to cover it while I’m wearing it over my shoulder and running around. It is light enough that it adds no weight, yet covers up much more than I thought it would. It is quite a stretch given the size of the lens and a XL would have been better, but I can get the L size to work. And it protects the gear from incidental scrapes and damage to my filters. I really like that it stretches and is so thick. Much better than some kind of heavy leather quick-ready case, and while not water resistant at all, I much prefer the lightness and stretchiness along with the thick material to protect my gear while I have it out in the field.

Camera protector glove
The cut/shape of this camera glove is generic, not specific for a given brand/model of camera, which means the fit isn’t likely to be perfect. However, the fabric has elastic and is stretchable, so it’ll fit most camera/lens combo if you get the right size. The product is made in Japan, not China.I got the polygon version, size M…it fits my Sony A7iv with a 28-75mm lens attached (see attached photo). The fabric is porous like a thick beanie so don’t expect it to be water or dust resistant. It’ll serve its intended purpose to prevent nicks or scratches on your camera/lens when rubbing against other items in your camera bag or when you bump your camera against something hard. An average product, nothing particularly special or outstanding.

Clever Design; Fits My Sony ZV-E10
These camera socks from PACKING_GO are a fun and clever design to add an extra layer of protection for my camera in transit. I have a camera backpack with dividers when I travel and the dividers are not as always reliable as one would hope. While I keep caps and covers on all my lenses and camera bodies, it’s nice to have a layer of protection of these items accidentally rub against each other when I’m traveling in an airport.I really like the assortment of colors and the knit branding on the camera sock is a cute touch. For reference I purchased the large sized, yellow, polygon W optionIt comfortably covers my Sony ZV-E10 and Sigma 50mm f 1.4 DG DN art lens.
