WNBA star Caitlin Clark is facing a potential leg issue, as announced by her team on Friday.
The Indiana Fever have listed her as questionable due to this leg concern for their pre-season opener on Saturday.
At this moment, there are no additional details regarding her condition.
Last season, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game. She was the leading scorer among rookies and topped the league in average assists, helping the Fever return to the playoffs after an eight-year absence.

Clark is not only crucial to her team but has also played a significant role in boosting the visibility of the entire league.
In her rookie year, the Fever became the most-watched team in the WNBA, with the 14 highest-viewed games of the season featuring them. She also set a record for the most All-Star votes for any player in WNBA history.

In early September 2024, Clark’s Indiana Fever attracted a TV audience of 1.26 million viewers during a game against the Minnesota Lynx, which coincided with an NFL matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers.
In Clark’s first regular-season finale against the Washington Mystics on Sept. 19, Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., saw a record 20,711 fans in attendance for a WNBA regular-season game.

Clark and the Fever attracted a WNBA record 1.84 million viewers on ABC for her first playoff game against the Connecticut Sun on Sept. 22, despite competing with an NFL Sunday. She achieved another record audience with 2.54 million viewers for her second playoff game.
However, after the Fever’s season ended, there was a notable decline in viewer numbers for the WNBA playoffs.
The opening semifinal game between the Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty—a rematch from last year’s finals and featuring two of the league’s top teams—drew an audience of just 929,000, which is a 50% decline compared to the Fever’s Game 1 against the Sun.
