Anne Burrell, a renowned star from the Food Network, has passed away at the age of 55.
The network confirmed Burrell’s passing in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“We are heartbroken to announce the loss of our cherished chef, Anne Burrell, who died this morning,” the post stated. “Anne was an extraordinary individual and culinary expert — she instructed, competed, and consistently highlighted the significance of food in her life and the happiness that a delightful meal can bring. Our condolences go out to Anne’s family, friends, and admirers during this time of profound sorrow.”

Burrell’s family provided a statement through her representatives, which was reported by People magazine.
“Anne was a cherished wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile brightened every room she walked into,” her family said on Tuesday. “Anne’s light reached far beyond her immediate circle, impacting millions globally. Though she has left us, her warmth, spirit, and immense love will remain timeless.”
