Product Description
Lightweight Design
he monitor has been slimmed down to weigh only 7.4 oz, and there are added locating holes alongside the 1/4″-20 threads for anti-twist mounting. A single L-series battery plate on the back has been placed in the center to improve balancing and maneuverability.

Using specially designed on-screen sliders you can adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/angle and ISO. A red edge display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether triggered by the camera or from the Shinobi II.
Perfect for video and photography
Shinobi II will run all day on a single battery and offers a host of professional monitoring features. Set up your shots accurately using our advanced histograms, waveforms and videoscopes. A multi-tool Analysis View gives you all the essential info at a glance. There’s even a selfie Mirror Mode for vloggers. Shinobi II is the perfect accessory to improve any photo or video production.
Cable locking
Atomos has developed a unique and rugged locking ecosystem to maintain a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables and Shinobi II is supplied with a special bracket to facilitate this. With Atomos locking cables (purchased separately) it is the most robust capture cable system available today. Shinobi II is also fully compatible with standard, non-locking cables.

Great monitor at affordable price
So far, Iâve used it on 3 shoots with my Panasonic GH6 and it works great. Sharp and lightweight.I am going to add a screen protector, had a close call in a crowded shooting area, but overall very happy. Itâs a great price point with a lot of features. Itâs only HDMI in, so if you have more professional cameras it may not have as much functionality as you need, but fits my needs perfectly.

Great FX3 Companion Monitor
Loving this monitor so far. Coming from a cheap Feelworld, this feels leaps in bounds better, from the build quality to the functions. The brightness in direct sunlight can be a bit rough, but overall it’s still usable. I’m using this with an FX3 and the touch functionality and camera controls have been great. I’ve even got a v-mount to dummy battery powering the monitor and the monitor powering my camera and it seems to work just fine. Overall, I think it’s worth the price if you’re willing to skip out on the RAW recording that their other monitors offer.

Great form factor, poor execution. Unusable monitor.
I came from a Ninja V looking for a lighter, lower-power option for monitoring only, and Atomos OS 11 seemed like a great fit. After unboxing and loading my LUTs, I was barely 25 minutes in before the monitor felt hot enough to burn my fingers, this was even while using a dummy battery. I reached out to support, and their only suggestion was a firmware update, which I had already done before setting up my LUTs. After that, Atomos went silent with no real resolution. In short, this monitor runs way too hot, has a poor thermal design, and lacks real usability for a professional workflow. No surprise itâs being discounted⦠Itâll likely stay that way until they fix the issue. Until then, itâs unusable for any professional.

Bright, Accurate, with Touch Screen Camera Control
The Atomos Shinobi ii is more than a monitor. It offers touch screen control for focusing and exposure control with compatible cameras. It has a 5″, 1920×1080 screen, with 1500 NIT brightness, which can be seen even on bright day if shaded from direct sunlight. The LCD screen on most cameras is useless in that situation. It connects to the HDMI port of a camera for video, and to the USB-C port of the camera for remote control. The Shinobi has an headphone port for monitoring audio, and a LANC port for additional control (e.g., zoom and shutter). It’s features are continually upgraded through firmware.

New Monitor who dis?
Great product! Monitor arrived on time as advertised! Picture quality is A1 and the new update has the âtouch to focusâ feature that was missing from the early software versions.

Great monitor
Really is a wonderful monitor for filmmakers that need good controls and is on a tight budget

Item unused but comes with no HDMI to connect to the camera. Upon closer inspection there is no option to mount it portrait and a deep dive into YouTube shows its only compatible with Sony a7s3 as a display monitor only so the touch screen is useless. Company tried to keep 20% plus postage despite terms saying 10% if used which it was not. Amazon had to overrule the company. Bad experience.

If you’re into photography or a video maker, The Shinobi II is a great monitor that will help you compose your video or next photo shoot……Updated firmware has made the Atomos fully functional for the Nikon Z8 and 6III.The Monitor screen is bright and large but the size3 and weight of the monitor are not too large to sit on board on your DSLR/Mirrorless camera.

Consigliato!
