On Tuesday night, Chicago Sky’s standout player Angel Reese experienced a dramatic moment as her team lost to the Washington Mystics with a score of 79-72.
Reese achieved 17 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, shooting an impressive 7-of-13 from the field. However, tensions flared when she had a brief exchange with a Mystics player after a Sky player’s missed shot.

As the players ran back down the court, Reese made contact with Mystics rookie Kiki Iriafen, causing her to fall. The game continued on without any fouls being called.
However, Iriafen ended up celebrating after the incident.
With just 35 seconds left and the Mystics ahead by three points, guard Brittney Sykes attempted a shot that missed. Iriafen was right there to grab the rebound and score, extending their lead.
