USB Wifi Dongle Replacement for Qidi Plu-4 3D Printer – HOLY CRAP soo much better! Plug-n-Play!
Anyone who has a #qidiplus4 printer, you’ve probably experienced completely crappy #wifi from the printer. The #Qidi Plus4 wifi is *REALLY BAD*.On the main board, there are several USB plugs on the left side. One of these has a small USB Wifi dongle. I replaced mine with this TP-link Archer T2U Nano AC600.HOLY CRAP it works SO MUCH BETTER! It’s an amazing difference. Totally worth the $12 bucks! Actually Plug-n-Play.Literally, All I did was (1) turn off the printer, (2) remove the back plate, (3) unplug the trash dongle, (4) plug in this TP-link dongle, and (5) turn the printer back on. I didn’t have to mess around with any drivers or whatever – it just worked! Automatically connected to my network! (The IP address changed, so I had to reconnect in QIDIStudio)

Small enough to carry on your keychain
Got this to be able to view and save my dashcam SD card videos on my phone. Works flawlessy and is really fast. So much more convenient than downloading videos to my PC!

Amazing performance in a small package
Great for older machines that aren’t Wi-Fi 6 capable. Compact, discrete, very fast. It can get a little warm at times, but not often. Works great for everyday computing. Can stream in HD and UHD with no problems. Can’t beat the performance for the price.

Good, worked for me
Considering its size it’s very good, I do not expect it to have great reception range but that was not an issue for me, setup was painless both WiFi and BT worked out of the box

Got my older computer up when it “lost” it’s WiFi adapter after an update
I love my older computer – it’s an all-in-one with a giant monitor. But things have been going wrong here and there. Recently my security software did an update and shut down the computer. When I restarted it the next day it had no idea it even had a WiFi adapter. After a couple of hours of trying to get it fixed, I remembered that way back in the day I had a USB WiFi adapter for an older laptop that worked really well so I figured there’d be something similar for me now. I ordered this, it was inexpensive and was delivered to my somewhat-rural home several hours later. Plugged it in, restarted the computer and it works perfectly! Best use of time and money – I was losing my mind trying to fix it and I knew I was going to get more and more stressed as things didn’t work so this was awesome!

Amazing Product worth it
This little gadget is amazing. Have a PC that does not have for WIFI Connection. I just got our house remodeled and thought I was going to have to drill a hole through the wall to pass an ethernet cable to connect to my PC. Bought this and the minute I plugged it in voila!!!! I was able to connect to my WIFI router. Totally worth the price and very discreet.

Excellent Bluetooth and WiFi Adapter
A new computer I had recently purchased did not have Bluetooth installed. The TP-Link 2-in-1 USB Bluetooth WiFi adapter was an easy option and easy installation. The adapter has allowed me to pair my iPhone to a Windows 11 computer and use my computer for messaging and calls. The downside is that it does not allow full functionality on my computer for messaging that my iPhone provides.

Terrible lag & dropped inputs over Bluetooth
Item failed to work with MiSTer FPGA. Severe lag on Bluetooth, at least 20% of inputs dropped. No notification Wi-Fi difference, but the signal throughput is less demanding for simple Wi-Fi use.For MiSTer FPGA, I returned this and got an Asus BT-500. The Bluetooth works far better, and I kept my old generic Wi-Fi dongle.

Honestly great product for its function. I’m writing on the internet right now with it. But why oh why did the designers include a green strobe light on this. Every 2ms I get a very useful blink to tell me that it is on…

This is a review for TP-Link’s Archer T2UB Nano USB adapter. This adapter is based on Realtek’s RTL8821CU chip.Specs are in the product description, no need to repeat them.Installation on a Windows 10 system went well with provided drivers, and everything works well, nothing negative to say… except it runs hot, normal for such a small package.WPA3 security is welcomed, but you might need to tell your router to use it exclusively. For Linux users:The T2UB doesn’t officially support Linux in the description (or even TPLink website), but driver support has been available in recent Linux kernels. It worked natively, “out of the box”, in a Linux Mint 22 distro (kernel 6.8.x). So we don’t have to compile the ‘rtw88’ driver for it anymore!
