Works on my tripod
I bought this for my new Sirui tripod and it does fit and works. I removed the two cap screws to make it sit flat on the base like the original. There is no recess in the base for the screws and no taper on the plate to make it slide easily over the safety pin, but by opening the clamp a little wider than I had been I can set it straight down and clamp it and the safety pin still does its job. A 2.5 mm hex wrench fits the cap screws.A very good value for the money.

Work well, need to monitor that they arenât loosening.
Needed a couple mounting plates for a spotting scope and binoculars. Didnât want to spend a lot so I tried these. They work well, seem plenty sturdy. Only issue is Iâve had the mounting stud loosen from inside the spitting scope. Nothing where I think it will fall, but I then have to remove the scope to retighten. Itâs happened infrequently, so not a big deal.

Nicely made but the screws are too long for my Olympus cameras.
The mounting plates are nicely made and finished. However, the mount screws are too long for my OM-1 camera. When the screw is fully in the camera socket the plate is still loose by at least one millimeter so the plates will not hold the camera firmly on a tripod head. I will have to grind the top of the screws off or find shorter screws before I can use these plates with my Olympus cameras.
