Tehran Hesitates on Negotiation as Israel and Iran Exchange Fire
During a meeting of the U.N. Security Council on Friday, Iran’s leading diplomat stated that there is “no space for discussions” until Israel halts its military actions.
“Iran is open to reconsidering diplomacy once aggression ceases, and the aggressor is held responsible for their actions. I made it very clear that Iran’s defense capabilities are non-negotiable.” “We have been explicit: Iran must not possess a nuclear weapon, and the E3 in Europe have maintained this position for many years.”
