JRNY Travel Magazine, in partnership with Steppes Travel, is excited to announce the return of the World Travel Photography Awards for its third edition, which will be launching soon! Photographers globally are encouraged to participate in this no-cost competition, which features four distinct categories. Start getting your images ready!
The World Travel Photography Awards will accept entries beginning on July 1, 2025. Both amateur and professional photographers can join in, with the four categories being: Landscape, People, Cities, and Wildlife. Participants can submit photographs in any category they qualify for, with a limit of 10 entries per individual. Photographs taken with either film or digital cameras are welcome across all categories. Note: This competition is exclusively for photographers aged 18 and older.
The judging panel will feature Jordan Banks, the Founding Editor of JRNY Magazine, Kav Dadfar, co-founder of JRNY, Holly-Marie Cato, and wildlife photographer Harry Skeggs, who is the 2025 recipient of the AP’s Nature and Environment award.
Prizes:
- £2,500 total cash prizes: £2,000 for the grand winner and £500 for the runner-up.
- Winners and category victors will receive a one-year digital subscription to JRNY.
- Featured publication in JRNY Magazine for winners.
Important Dates:
- Competition opens: July 1, 2025.
- Competition closes: August 18, 2025.
- Judging period: August 19 – September 30, 2025.
- Winners announced: October 30, 2025.
